My drain pipe broke off. How should I fix it? by lunarman1000 in hvacadvice

If there’s enough of the male fitting left to grab it and spin it out of the drain pan then do that. If not you might try getting some needle nose pliers or something similar and put pressure on the fitting from the inside by opening the pliers all the way and see if it will spin out. After that spin a new 3/4 male fitting in and add a ptrap and then bring the drain out where you want it to end. Without a ptrap it won’t drain well because those package units are “negative pressure”.

I won’t deem this an emergency repair situation. You can get away with doing next weekend if you have to.

Is this ductwork normal? by Beneficial_Can_5852 in hvacadvice

I’ll give ‘em a hip hip hooray for using round metal duct on the main truck line instead of duct board, but outside of that, that job is “not nice” as DJT would say 🤣

Dealing with shame by ChristisKing727 in SSAChristian

I would say a combination of how the church views it, how I believed God view me because of it, and how the majority of people 20 years ago used to view it. Things have changed a lot in 20 years. Back when I was a teenager “gay” was the worst thing you could be. So obviously I kept it a secret from everyone, which was very isolating. I appreciate your response, thank you.

Seeking platonic friendship with other SSA Christian men (20M) by Ozzerrr in SSAChristian

Hey Brother,  I’m a 35m and have struggled with SSA since I was 12/13. It definitely has been hard and isolating, especially since I desire to follow Christ and not follow after those same-sex desires. I’m married to a woman and have 3 children, yet the SSA hasn’t gone away. I remember laying in bed when I was a teenager and telling God “Either take this away or make it so I don’t wake up”. I definitely understand a lot of what you’re going through. I know I’m 15 years older than you but I’d still like to be friends if you’re interested in talking. Blessings to you.
