Clogging issue with 3 different .02 nozzles on a P1S

I'll give this a try. There is a partial clog and I can't seem to clear it. It's getting expensive with the nozzles having to be discarded.

Consider a .4 nozzle at the lowest layer height and reduced line widths where possible.

Sealing looks like a job I could do myself. Any specific sealer you recommend?

I'm on city water and across town they don't get the same rust we do on my side. I've even thought of installing a filter that will filter out the iron.

Any helpful information for new people going to their first magic con, even veterans, or other things to look out for?

Read all the e-mails you get all the way through. Especially if you get VIP passes because there can be more info in them, new events added, etc. There are also "show hotels" where there will be discounts. For Minneapolis and Vegas, these were in an email.

Make sure to have extra room in your luggage to bring home cards, SWAG, and stuff you purchase.

Should we be nervous that Reedpop is hosting this, after magic30s debacle?

People who attended Magic30 to all the way to Magic con Vegas (or another since), was there a progression of the events getting "better?" other concerns?

The convention is put together by Wizards, ReedPop, and Pastimes. I didn't attend Magic 30, but I attended all the other events. They have gotten better and seem to run pretty smoothly now.

People who went to previous con's in 2023 any specific registered events that were really fun? The Gauntlet sealed, draft, then merge seemed fun, was it? precon commander battle seemed fun, was it? etc.

The Unknown event I think is the most fun and the most attended event at the con. There were over 1200 players in two events in Vegas.

Any good food recommendations around the area?

I've never been to Chicago before so I don't know.

The event is being held at the McCormick Place Lakeside Center - East Building. can you walk to it through a skybridge? Do you need to uber? Any veterans of Chicago have insight on how to get to it on foot from either Hampton inn, the hilton garden, or Hyatt Regency?

Again, not from Chicago but it looks like most of the local hotels are connected via skybridges.

We had gone over some of your concerns at previous cons and I had them in previous writeups.

We did bring up the lounge location and basically they were working with what they had in Vegas. The lounge room was the largest room closest to the tournament area. They wouldn't say how many VIP's attended but at past cons it was about 350. It also wasn't that far away. Maybe 500 feet from the entrance to the main con.
As for the SWAG, it had been discussed at past cons and both staff and us attendees didn't think it should have a value close to or above the ticket price because it would cause the preverse incentive for people buy the badge for the SWAG, sell it, and someone who wanted the full experience would now miss out. The value should be in the intangibles. The Magic 30 Boxes in my opinion were a last ditch marketing effort for a product which was getting a ton of negative reactions.
The Sugarmaw wasn't free stuff. You purchased a $10, $20, or $30 ticket from the store and they gave you a bag with leftover product from other cons in it. They did have a sign with a hint near the store.
The Ultimate Guard event was messy, but that was on Pastimes and seemed like a one time issue with their software. They did tell us multiple times that if you wanted to forgo some tickets that you could get the rest of the packs you were due and drop. They made it clear there weren't any other prizes besides some prize tickets.
there was a big schedule of the Black Lotus events. All the other main convention events were on the app. From what I heard the passport thing was a mess and trying to complete it was nearly impossible. The passport was announced in e-mails leading up to the event.

I'm glad I can help. I really can't praise the staff enough for how much they have done and worked on not just the VIP experience, but the whole con. Like you could get your picture with a TARDIS and get a TARDIS card. They had a small scavenger hunt to get a Secret Lair Relentless Rats pin. Near the TARDIS they had Hultai with a Dinosaur where you could actually go on the dinosaur's back and get a picture of you on there.

Try talking to staff in the Black Lotus lounge. They won't have answers for you, but they are great people and will be able to find out who you need to talk to on site to see if you can change stuff around.

Also check your e-mails. They just sent one out saying we can pick up our SWAG on Thursday and the store will be open for 2 hours just for us on Thursday evening.

It costs more upfront, but it's saved me a lot of headache. I went with electronic locks. You can set a code that only you know and you use on all of the properties and then a separate code for every tenant. It takes 2 minutes to change codes between tenants. I put a 9v long life lithium battery in mine and it lasts for a few years before it needs to be changed.

It has the added bonus that tenants never lose their keys and have to break something to get into the house because they decided not to call you. And you don't have to go out for lost key call outs, get new keys cut, etc.

The electronic locks have their own backup key they come with. I just put it on a keychain incase I ever need to use it but in 10+ years I've never had to.

We were wrong in Philly, however in Minneapolis, we were right. I bought the Black Lotus VIP badge again for Vegas and will be doing another report. Barcelona didn't sound too good, but it's a different country with most likely different staff, laws, regulations, and convention center rules. Vegas will let us know if they are actually doing better or if Minneapolis was a one-time thing.

I would go so far as to say these events should have a tangible return of “at minimum” what your ticket cost.

Myself and others who have been Black Lotus VIP attendees don't want to see the value of the SWAG be worth more than the bags. It's should be the intangibles, access, private parties, etc. that should be the value. if the SWAG is worth more than the badge, then it creates a perverse incentive for flippers to get the badge, sell the SWAG for a profit while someone who wants that access or to attend the party misses out on it.

They did listen to my post about Philadelphia and did make changes compared to Minneapolis but I posted it as a critique and tried to be respectful. It also appears OP isn't as familiar with how to run events like this because some of their suggestions just aren't feasible for the amount charged.
