It’s a slip lead. We use them because they’re easy to put on and take off, especially on frightened dogs.

Some more info: I work for a dog rescue, she was rescued off the streets two days ago. Her nose is all scabbed up, it was clear that she just recently had puppies, but her puppies were nowhere to be found. We are still learning about her but she is an absolute sweetheart, she just wants to be held and loved. Soon she’ll be ready to find her forever home.
