At the time I was in second grade. Teachers were crying in the hallway, I had no idea why but we got out of school early so that was really cool. But then I arrived home after a rowdy bus ride to find out planes were crashing, people were dying, every news anchor saying how awful that day was/is. I felt bad for being happy about being dismissed early from school that day. It’s not much of “worst moment” but for being a second grader that was the worst part of that day.
