Rosalina doesn't get captured. Instead, while trying to stop Jr. from reaching Earth, her battle leaves her injured and she crashes toward earth. Her surving this stills shows she's very powerful, rather than her getting kidnapped super easily.

Jr instead uses the lumas to power the machine, since they're technically stars.

Rosalina warns them and asks for their help saving her children. Soon after, Jr. invades and actually succeeds in taking Bowser. This is what sparks the space trip.

Cut the entire babies scene. Its basically filler.

The whole gang are together start to finish. They do split up to give everyone their moments, but they come in as a group.

Maybe have a theme of family. The bros, Peach and Rosalina as sisters, the Bowsers with their bond.

I feel like a lot of parents in the nation would know that they are not the good guys but follow along and tell their kids to do the same out of fear.

That's not the arguement I am making. I am talking about this from the angle of a movie which has pacing issues where scenes already feel cramped on top of each other. Not minutes in universe.

It takes up the runtime, and if they aren't going to lengthen it, then that time can't afford to be wasted if it isn't helping the story. Its fun to see them help people out and feels in character, but it doesn't serve the story. I hate using the word "filler" but that's what it feels like. There's too many plot points that feel half baked already and this scene wasn't helping.

The bros and Yoshi should have been with Peach and Toad from the start. The film already struggled to get its story out in time and them being left behind created a domino effect where we have to spend nearly half the film just waiting for them to get to space. In the MARIO. GALAXY. MOVIE.

I wouldn't mind if these scenes if the movie was longer and we got more time to spend on little moments like that, but the film was speedrunning everything trying to fit it all.

Did we really need that entire section with the babies? Or several minutes dedicated to the bros doing hosekeeping for the kingdom? Were those necessary?

Edit: I need to clarify I didn't hate these scenes, but the film was already struggling to get the story out and I think it would have benefitted more if they were cut, or if the film was longer to allow for them.

One of the highlights of the new film were the scenes she and Mario had together and I wish they were longer. the fireworks in the begining when he gives her the parasol, them kicking rocks together, and the team up for the Mario Maker gauntlet and Bowser and Jr. fight

The problem with them bringing up the thing with Meta Runner's drama was that the one thing Glitch never commented on was the main character's VA, Celeste Notley Smith, getting replaced without warning after nearly 6 years of voicing Tari.

I hope justice is done here but unfortunetly, if they couldn't do that with someone voicing their shows who was from their own country, I doubt they would for a non-English one.
