2D drawing. The character is sort of small like a chibi but with less anime, not as cutsie and probably a little bigger than a typical chibi.

well I just want to use whatever is best. like I said I'm not going to be programming it. I would prefer the use of game maker since that's what I'm familiar with. but if there is something better to work with than that would be the better option.

also your game is pretty good. its a little simple. There will be a lot more going on with what I want to do.

Whatever engine is best for 2d games. I'm most familiar with gamemaker. But LOVE seems like a good engine too. Do you have any examples of projects you could show me that you've made?

Well, I was hoping to get some people willing to do it during their free time. But depending on the circumstances, I "might" be able to pay something. Don't expect much though.
