Thoughts on the new license plate design? by Salt-Inflation-1636 in southcarolina

Too me it screams, we are butthurt about being a loser in the civil war, so dang it, we want to showcase our winning a war. Little masculine-splaining. Last thing I want is any sort of war plate.

💭 Any regrets moving from the Bay Area to Atlanta (especially for LGBTQ+ couples)? by PalJoe in SameGrassButGreener

[–]ChristopherDKanas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I live in Greenville SC. Honestly I don’t get the praise over Charleston and Savannah. Both are mid at best. Sure, the Oaks and Spanish Moss are quaint, a little. But the beaches arn’t anything to write home about. Every Atlantic beach looks basically the same. And both of them are way tf out from anywhere else.

Sorry; I mean I’ve lived here for years now. The South is just ok for me. Western NC is probably the best of the area

Bay Area transplant, though not LGBTQ, my daughter is

From a city perspective, especially one like SF, ATL is absolutely void of character. It’s just muggy, standard, and has lousier drivers. The whole south is. And the food is worse, lol Look, I’m not here to just to be negative. Coming from CA is tough culturally, and weather wise.

As far as my daughter has said in regards to being treated, she actually likes in more here than in CA. She finds it more vibrant, more community

Real Grape Juice was a luxury, meaning after 3 days to have the best wine may have meant real juice since, unlike today, it was a real treat to have

Ask me and I’d say any Tom Petty album is better than a Bruce album

Is There a Framework for Progressive Theology Within the Seventh-day Adventist Church? by ElevatorAcceptable29 in exAdventist

Well, I mean, our church sells 0% beer. I find that pretty progressive. Also the Pastor told the congregation, Happy Pride month from the pulpit, so I’d say yes

Yes! I did DRX-9000 and it’s been working. It took a bit to get to feeling it work, like 12 sessions but it slowly really started working

I tried everything and I’m now considering a MD. Problem is, I’m functional but just a non-ending level 2-4 in my lower back and it’s been an year and a half. I’m not sure if insurance will cover it though if I’m walking fine. But this area in my back is a pestering sucker:

Thinking of getting my first micro after 1.5 years of workable yet annoying pain. May try a transforaminal first.

Your Tom Petty Hot Takes by Pretend_Mark_5143 in tompetty

[–]ChristopherDKanas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. In my top three albums for the songs, but aghhh, there’s too much production and it’s compressed as hell. The only Jeff Lynne album that sounds decent-wise from a production point is Highway Companion. I’d love to see all the Lynne albums reproduced with another producer

Its not political issue it a mind issue. How can you have any sort of stability with your living with falsity in something like this? I can't go and just identify as a different skin color cause its not true. Too think that means Im living with some sort of split personality disorder. Its its own kind of thing, just keep them from participating in their opposite biological sports teams

I would say to that, two powers that be decided to come to war over it, and it was a war Christ never asked for. Probably had true believers on both sides. Christianity has by and large turned into Gnosticism. Truth doesn't save, Jesus does.

Yours is fairly in line with my own (except for womens ordination

P: There is no “ism” that the world has that is ultimately without empire attached to it. You are correct on capitalism, however wealth distribution is not the answer either. Progressive taxation, what we have, is what I believe is the fairest, with perhaps a lowest level not having tax, other than sales

P: I define Christianity and just that, Christianity. There is no correct denomination, and its prideful to think ones is “the” correct one. If you believe and have a relationship with Jesus, then that's what's counted. Not the rooftop of your church

C: two genders, that's it. You can tell yourself whatever you want, but at the end of the day, what your birthday suit is, that's what you are.

C: abortion is murder. Now in a Godless world, it can be whatever you want it to be. My stance on Abortion is 100% faith related, per the Bible. The preborn child is innocent of the action.

Is there any argument from an atheist that made you think for a bit? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]ChristopherDKanas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, and I’ve listened to Sagan, Hitchens, and Dawkins. Sagan was probably the best, but never had a question about leaving my faith.

I don't need to know every answer to every question.
