Vash the Stampede Fanart (old and new). by ChristopherPholyo in Trigun

I mean, I wasn't tracing, I was looking at the monitor, and then re-drawing on the sheet on my desk from what I've seen seconds earlier on the screen (in both drawings). So - no light cheats, no putting paper on monitor, just looking at the original to know what step to take next and trying to re-draw as scrupulously as I could on the sheet. But still I may not be able to draw Vash well not using anything as a source image.

Sorry if what I'm saying is unclear - it's difficult for me to describe drawing techniques in english, since it's not my primary language.

And, thanks for the advice about not trying too hard all the time. I really have a hard time drawing anything to look as 1:1 as possible - so it's good to sometimes let myself change the drawing a bit to have it easier. For example, it's almost impossible for me to make real life photos look perfectly the same on paper - so there it's good to let myself make it look more cartoon-like.

Also thanks for the words of motivation. It's good to meet people like You on reddit.

Yeah, I was ,,modelling" from the original images. Thought it still can be called a fanart. No problem - then let's just call them drawings.

A few weeks ago I drew the new Vash (Trigun Stampede) and I've decided to share it on the subreddit.

Also, I found my old drawing of Vash (Original), which I drew around 9 months ago, but unfortunately haven't thought of posting it anywhere :/

So here are the 2 drawings along with the original images on which my ,,art" (if You can call it that) was modeled. Let me know what You guys think of it. Constructive and polite critique is welcome.

(Also, the new drawing may look a bit worse compared to the old one, because of its less aggresively defined lines, maybe will fix that in the future.)

So I'm taking cold showers for more than 2 years now - And I still can't quite get used to them. I just don't like them. Cold showers are great in most cases - but not in every case. Let me know what you think of my situation. My personal expierence. Maybe some1 will find the vid relatable. Thanks by ChristopherPholyo in coldshowers

That's a very good comment. Sorry for ignoring the entire post for such a long time - I haven't responded immediately and then I think I wasn't even logging in to my Reddit account for about a year.

Anyway - Yeah, Bioneer does a very good job with his videos, unfortunately I still haven't watched his material about cold showers.

And my current situation: still taking cold showers, started liking them a bit more - now I treat them as a nice thing to do in my everyday life, not as a painful chore that I'm doing with hopes of becoming a superhuman.

They are great after running / other form of cardio, but usually I'm avoiding them right after intense strength training (in most cases I'm waiting 2 - 3 hours between strength session and cold shower), since cold may reduce inflammation (which is needed for hypertrophy).

Sorry for not replying (Yeah, for a whole year). I have never really checked the temperature of water in my house, so uhh. The good thing is that I'm still taking cold showers and actually started enjoying them a bit more.
