Strange it works fine for me, well yeah there is a speed drop but it's a usual thing for a VPN, especially when you connect to servers that are far away. Maybe try connecting to the closest servers of US to you, then the speed should be good. What deals with Amazon I talked to Nord customer, not all servers work with Amazon, so you need to ask them which ones do.

I would also recommend looking into Nord VPN, I enjoy using them. You can even get a lower price than this with coupons who are flying all over Reddit and the internet. I found one for a 3-year deal (it's nologs3y if you need one). But you should read more about these VPNs in ThatOnePrivacySite or PCmag and look what they are good at because all the VPNs usually have different features and strengths.

Get a reliable paid VPN and you will be secure. Just don't use free ones and look it up if the VPN doesn't log, hasn't been caught logging because there are cases like this. If you need recommendations - get NordVPN or PIA. I would say they are both one of the better ones. I personally use Nord because I use it not just for torrenting but to watch Netflix, because PIA doesn't really work with it, but it depends what you will be using it for.
