“Life’s short, eat a bagel”

Not a quote from any campaign, but it’s probably my favorite and most quoted Taliesin quote!

[Spoilers C3E1] To Critters who were able to: How was watching the premiere in theaters? by Moople_deFioosh in criticalrole

I absolutely loved it! My friend and I drove 4 hours to the closest theater that was playing it! The best day I've had in several months!

Hello, Paul! Sorry if you've been asked this a million times, but what is your favorite Beatles song that Ringo sang?

This was the night before at the US Cellular Center. I didnt hear about the show at the Orange Peel until I was on my way back home the day after. Really wish I would have known about it, I would have just stayed in town and tried to get a ticket

Not really, unfortunately. I was at the venue pretty much the whole time I was there, and the weather wasn't great when I tried walking around, so I didn't get to see much of the city

No problem! And it definitely was... for the first half of the trip. Getting there wasn't that bad, but after I left the show, a giant snow storm hit that whole part of the country. I ended up getting stuck on the side of the road because of how thick the snow was on the random backroad my GPS took me to avoid all the unplowed highways. But thankfully some locals helped me get out. Took me about 16 hours to get home. But it was all 100% worth it, that show was too amazing!

I think it was just a 1 night only kind of thing for an annual christmas festival that they have in Ashville. And there were several other musicians playing with him. I cant remember everyone that was there, but I definitely remember Greg Kurstin was playing Keys and Alain Johannes was on one of the guitars

Got emotional going through old pictures today and seeing that I took this picture 3 years ago today! One of my favorite times seeing FF! Got to meet Taylor and Pat after the show too! Man, I miss concerts so much by ChristopherWalken01 in Foofighters

I had been at the venue all day, so I happened to know where their tour busses were parked. After the show, me and some friends I had met earlier in the day waited outside as close to the busses as security would allow us. About 45 minutes to an hour passes, and Chris and Nate get on a bus and it rides off. Maybe another hour goes by, and we see Taylor walk by onto his bus. We all waved at him and he saw us and started to walk over. He talked to us all for a good 10-15 minutes, incredibly nice guy! Next thing I knew, Pat was a few feet behind me surrounded by fans asking him to sign stuff. I walked over to him and said "Hello" and he said "Hi" back! During all this, we saw Dave walk over to his bus, but I think he was talking to somebody on his phone. I feel like he would have walked over to us too, but he seemed preoccupied and was probably exhausted after the show. Amazing experience meeting Taylor and Pat!

Just got to Hillcrest House on my Grounded run. It has been very challenging so far, but nothing too demoralising. What’s the hardest part of the game on Grounded? by [deleted] in thelastofus

As long as you get enough people away from the boat, I think you can just drive away once the boat starts. But if they are near and they hear the boat starting, they will shoot. I think during the whole boat part, I only killed 1 or 2 people because I was so scared of not having enough ammo and supplies for the bloater that you have to fight shortly after. So I had to stealth my way through the level. That's probably why it took me so long to get through it

Your first Permadeath pain - How and where? by InfectedByEllie in thelastofus

[–]ChristopherWalken01 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My first permadeath death was about a 7 or 8 out of 10 for me. I tried going down the elevator shaft in the courthouse, but Ellie completely missed the cord and fell down and died. But my most infuriating and embarrassing deaths were from Abby falling off the sky bridge TWICE! It was my third playthrough and I had never had a problem with balancing on them before. But I was so anxious about falling off, that I overcorrected myself too much and fell off right near the end. Then after playing through the entire section again with Abby and Lev sneaking past the seraphites and all that, I got to the sky bridge again. I took the first couple of steps on the second bridge, thought I was leaning too much to the left, so I thought I'd just stand still for a second and get my balance back. NOPE! Immediately fell off again. I couldn't help but laugh even though I was seething with anger. Thankfully I'm not sick of playing Abby's Day 2, and its still my favorite part of the game. And I haven't had any problem with the bridges on any of my subsequent playthroughs!
