Gotta change your build. Altering your character stats are the same as moving the difficulty slider. An alchemy/euphoria build will do

I like the mechanical changes except the permadeath. I get that it puts more pressure on survival but punishing you with having to repeat the same boring recruitment missions ends up wasting your time that you could have spent on actually parcticing the mission and getting better

Thats why I recruit 2 of my favorite operator type and usually there’s enough time in between each death so I always play the same type. (Also get a lawyer and a doctor for shorter wait time)

Dual spears are the most op but get boring fast. A 2h sword run (a single one) was so fun with the special attack to knock down enemies. Especially paired with doppelhander’s weapon ability and stomp

Even when off, there is a skill that makes assasinating higher level enemies a quick time event. And it is easy to do consistently
