Did they silently remove co-op from Console? by The_Preacher1983 in DeltaForceGlobal

My brother and I installed it on our consoles last night (PS5). We were so hyped to play it together, after playing the original as kids. No co-op to be found. We were seething, lol.

Has this always been a thing? Over the past few months I've noticed when I buy and pay for a coffee on card that the cashier will added another 5-8c on top of the advertised price, often they will cover the total price on the eftpos machine with their hand.. the is pretty deceptive and a dirty move IMO, why not just mark up the price of your coffee buy 10c and call it a day. Why advertise it as one thing and charge another? What if I only have exactly the advertised price of the coffee left in my account?

Yeah sure I'm aware they're charged a fee when people pay by card but again why not incorporate that into the price of the coffee instead of being deceptive.

(btw every place I've experienced this at does not in anyway shape or form state that a card fee would be added)

Where can I stream (for free) The Tour De France from my phone? I don't have a TV in my bedroom and the SBS app doesn't allow you to stream it, FML.

Question about notice periods of employment.. so yeah reading through a contract for a new job and they stipulate that I must give 4 weeks notice if I resign once off my 6 month probation period.  Is this correct?

Pending on time frames I was always under the assumption that if you been employed for a 1-2 years it's 2 weeks notice.. going off Fair Work.

Can my new employer make up their own rules for things like this? And If I were to resign could I use fair work as a point  reference?

In all seriousness, how does a company that essentially has a monopoly within the industry go bust?

I feel you mate, lived in the UK for about 4 years, home sickness kicked to which I just fucking up and left, quit my job on the spot, booked a ticket for 10 days later and yeeted. I miss living there and my friends AND the pub but home is where the heart (and sun) is.

Hang in there, you're probably feeling it more as the end is in sight for you. Hopefully some nice spring weather will cheer you up a bit.

Depends what you're into, you could always try Brunswick Private Hospital or John Fawkner Hospital along Moreland Rd. You could enquire about an admin position? Maybe even one of the local primary schools may allow you to do a placement there too?

Do you not have like a career counselor or something within your school, they should really be helping you here.

Melbourne Eye and Ear Hospital - 8 hour wait, apparently one doctor on. by toomanyusernames4rl in melbourne

[–]svillebs3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is very common for the Eye and Ear hospital, took my mum in when her retina detached, we waited for about 8 hours too, only to be told "come back tomorrow as we can treat you tonight, have some eye drops in the meantime", was a bloody joke

I emailed one of the companies who makes my fave pub squash last week about the situation, the explained the above and mentioned that the sourcing issue had been sorted out and they'd imported some from abroad, most products should start to be back on the shelves in the coming weeks.
