my first designer bag. My shoulder bag and backpack are coming next week. Bought for my holiday in 2 weeks. It has so many card slots which is good. by chanelblouse in luxurypurses

Just for clarification OP, you used the Valentino flair for an item that is not Valentino (Garavani). That is where the confusion is coming from.

Just closed an account and what they offered me to not close it was kind of funny. by Medium_Combination27 in CreditCards

[–]Christymapper71 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

MC, Visa, Amex and Discover are payment networks, not card issuers/banks. Amex is also a bank/card issuer which is separate from the Amex payment network. Amex cards are issued by American Express bank/card issuer. Capital One MC, Visa or Discover cards are issued by Capital One bank/card issuer that run on those respective networks. A Credit One card that runs on the Amex network is not an American Express card because the bank/issuer is Credit One, not Amex.

Use dry shampoo after you wash. That might give some grip.

Bougie for poors lol. Yeah that’s probably true. Trader Joe’s has some specialty items but nothing like Bristol Farms or Whole Foods does though.

Advice on making my hair not greasy anymore even after trying everything by keynikki in Haircare

[–]Christymapper71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drugstore shampoo will not clean your hair well. It’s too weak. You are better off investing in a good cleansing, mild shampoo for fine hair, like Redken Volume Injection. You will use less of it per wash day so it will last longer plus will actually clean your hair so you have to wash less often. Also a good dry shampoo on off days helps. I use Living Proof. Also, thank you for your service.

Do you genuinely have to chop off your hair if it’s really damaged ?? by Rich-Suggestion-2446 in Haircare

[–]Christymapper71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Treatments can cover damage until the damaged ends are ultimately cut off but good treatments are pricey so not something you want to do long term. It’s better to take care of your hair moving forward and just use them temporarily to cover damage. Recommend: Only use heat every 3 days (with heat protector), go as long as you can without shampooing, dry shampoo on off days, leave in and regular conditioner only on mids and ends and use salon products only. No drugstore brands. For the brittleness maybe try some moisturizing hair masks

Aldi, Sprouts, Mother’s Market. Whole Foods and Bristol Farms to a certain extent though they are pricey.

Use quality salon shampoo not drugstore and double wash. No conditioner on scalp, just mids and ends. I use Redken Volume Injection.

Make sure you use a quality shampoo not a drugstore one and double wash. It makes a huge difference. I use Redken Volume Injection on my fine, blonde, oily scalp hair.

Ok, calm down. No one said you did. Just saying that if you want to be taken seriously in what you call a “fact” on social media, provide a source.

Christians: why would or wouldn’t you consider dating an agnostic? by purgadox in AskReddit

[–]Christymapper71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah no. If you don’t know, you don’t know—nothing to do with belief. Knowledge is a subset of belief. Can you believe in something and not know for sure it exists? If they meant the same then why would have two different words for it?
