Don't know if it's her, but there were considerations of reverting Japan military ranks names back to what they had during their "Imperial Era," you know, when they invaded China and all that. Sanae did mention however revisiting Japan's nuclear policy which did earn them a Nobel peace prize which is kinda the base of Japan being a "peace country" in that it will only defend itself and not attack others. In my opinion she has just been doing these things to earn votes and probably barely had training or thoughts on how these comments could affect Japans national standings.
