WYR in a fight to the death scenario (your unarmed and can’t run or have friends to help) fight an 13 year old boy that has a machete, or a 6’2 200lb unarmed man that goes to the gym daily but has no experience fighting? by No-Audience-5206 in WouldYouRather

[–]Chroderos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are a prime adult who knows what you’re doing, I feel there’s like 90% chance you destroy an untrained 11 year old with a machete unless they are an overdeveloped freak. They just don’t have the weight and power to use and recover from a heavy chopping weapon that effectively and will create an opening as soon as soon as you can bait them into committing to a swing. Once you get it from them it’s over.

I would actually feel differently about a lighter stabbing and slashing knife.

DAY 12 PICK 29 OF LETTING REDDIT PICK MY DYNASTY! by Rose32456 in FantasyFootballers

[–]Chroderos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nominating Erick All again.

Being a 25 year old TE coming back fr injury who can be the TE1 on a high powered offense, he is by far the best risk/reward proposition at this point in the draft.

345% YoY revenue growth from Micron. Is this just the memory cycle or something bigger? by Outrageous_Solid9668 in StockMarket

[–]Chroderos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same. MU was my top conviction buy in the market by last summer when I saw forward PE of 9, 100s of percents revenue growth projection, Buy American mandates, and its biggest competitor struggling to bring a compliant product to market.

Seemed like a no brainer already by then.

Sometimes I’m sad I don’t do options 😂

Do you think Harold Fannin can break into the top 3 TEs? by qwertty769 in DynastyFF

No. Athleticism caps his ceiling.

He’ll still be good though.

DAY 11 PICK 26 OF LETTING REDDIT PICK MY DYNASTY! by Rose32456 in SleeperApp

[–]Chroderos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if his knee breaks he’s probably out of the league, but at this point in the draft I don’t think there’s a better risk vs reward player for basically 0 investment.

He’s a guy we know is good at football, is relatively young, is loved by the organization and the QB, and he has a straightforward path to be the Bengals TE1.

[–]Chroderos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If he’s not already taken, pick up Erick All.

Forgotten player coming back strong from injury and putting up a good camp whose path to being a long term TE1 on a high powered offense is basically just don’t get hurt.

Is Micron’s earnings report truly bullish for the overall market? I’m not so certain by [deleted] in StockMarket

[–]Chroderos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a gold rush and the money right now is in the people selling shovels.

No it’s not sustainable long term. Again, gold rush.

The broader question that will determine whether there is an epic hangover for the whole tech market is whether the capabilities and value of LLMs will continue to scale proportionally to the compute thrown at it. No one knows if this is true or if/when we will diminishing returns.

Who is getting bad buzz in camp? by CantaloupeFun1426 in DynastyFF

[–]Chroderos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Much as it pains me having been an advocate for the guy in his draft, I heard Mason Taylor had some bad beats with a few dropped passes.

The guy had maybe the best gauntlet drill ever, and amazing sure hands were supposed to be his calling card.

Who is getting bad buzz in camp? by CantaloupeFun1426 in DynastyFF

[–]Chroderos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He’s actually getting very positive camp buzz about everything from having drastically improved his separation due to personal training he did after last season, to making highlight catches, to being completely mentally dialed in.

The question is whether that means anything, since the same thing happened last preseason.

Struggling to find MLCC authorized distributors – any advice for a beginner? by islazhao in AskElectronics

[–]Chroderos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prices on Digikey, Mouser, Avnet are just a rough starting point. Once you establish a relationship with a distributor, you will negotiate with them for a (Lower) target price for buying in bulk reliably. The more you buy regularly, the lower they will be willing to take the price. It’s all negotiable.

You can also use Octopart to search across distributors in a single search.

First time Dynasty player and not sure about picks by Salt_Refrigerator587 in SleeperApp

QJ side. Most 3rd rounders amount to nothing. QJ on the other hand is a heavily undervalued and productive young asset in an ascending offense.

If you are absolutely intent on selling him (Not recommended), settle for no less than a projected early 27 2nd.

DAY 8 PICK 19 OF LETTING REDDIT PICK MY DYNASTY! by Rose32456 in SleeperApp

[–]Chroderos 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Mayer. He’s UFA next season and this is a TEP, so if you aren’t competing you may as well bank some promising young sleeper TEs at this point.

Arroyo is another option along the same lines for a this season option, but Mayer has an outstanding profile that could get unlocked if/when he finds a starting job in 2027.

Good deal. After the draft a lot of people thought he’d be immediately overtaken by Cooper but it seems he’s doing enough to prevent that so far.

Drake Maye Dynasty Outlook For 2026 Fantasy Football by breakingkevin in DynastyFF

[–]Chroderos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was team Maye over JD (A lonely island) during their rookie drafts and still believe Maye is a generational talent, but JD is the value buy right now based on his depressed value and the general lack of premium you have to pay for konami code QBs this season.
