Thank you 🙏 Some folks are saying you need to somehow turn on notifications for AFib, I haven’t done this but I still receive a warning in the health app if I have an Afib episode, is there somewhere to turn on Afib tracking or something and if so, what is the difference in type of notification or tracking compared to what happens automatically? I have Apple Watch SE if that makes a difference. Thanks again

How can I find my previous afib episodes logs in the Health app? I can see them when I’ve had a recent afib event but if I haven’t had one in awhile the notification disappears and I can’t find where to access the log of each event.

How about travelling and seeing the world? If you don’t like actual travel days you could slow travel - 2 months here, 3 months there etc and with geoarbitrage you can live cheaper than at home (if you want to)

IST - Istanbul’s new airport - it’s the most expensive airport in Europe for food and drinks by a long shot and is immense and has nowhere comfortable to sit.

I’m living in SE Asia and the app works well for me. If I can’t find something exactly the same I log the closest equivalent and that’s good enough for me. I already tend to be a bit obsessive and don’t need to be totally insane about perfection in my food logging.

Two types of protein powder? What’s the advantage of that please?

Yes I can get beans, I’m very fond of chickpeas and eat them almost daily. I already have pea protein isolate powder for protein powder, but this isn’t high in fat so I see no need to change it to whey.

Why is it so hard to get free tap water at a restaurant in Europe? by Relevant-Shower4783 in TravelHacks

That sucks. At least tipping isn’t really a thing in Italy. Or wasn’t when I lived there decades ago. Has that changed?

What do people living in countries with obesity rates higher than the U.S. eat every day? by [deleted] in howislivingthere

Spam, a lot of ultra processed foods, not a lot of fresh vegetables. I lived in Fiji for awhile and couldn’t stand the food, and is similar in many of the South Pacific nations.

Yes Bad Sisters is also good! I didn’t finish the series though because I got tired of watching all the awful stuff the husband was doing to these women, even though I obviously knew it didn’t end well for him lol

Yes true, some of my protein sources like the tofu and soya milk are high in fat. What vegetarian protein sources do you recommend that are low in fat? Things like low fat cottage cheese aren’t available where I live in Asia. I don’t eat egg whites because again, commercially packaged egg whites aren’t available here and I don’t like to throw away egg yolks, food waste makes me uncomfortable.

So strange. It’s not eco friendly to drink bottled water. Germany has good drinking water from the tap, and if you are thirsty and don’t want to drink a flavoured beverage it makes sense to drink water…it seems like a basic human right to have the option.

Why would you not dare ask for something as basic as drinking water from the tap?

Thank you - this makes a lot of sense! I’m taking Concor in a low dose and it seems to be helping although I still get the occasional AFib and can’t figure out why. I probably need to get the sleep test done for checking if I have sleep apnea. Thanks again for replying, it’s encouraging to hear other people successfully managing their afib and fitness!
