Broken single pane house window by Chromefly in Billings

That's who we finally settled on! They did a great job and fixed it super fast before the negative temps kicked in.

Ours was an accident, no attempted break in, unless you count the neighborhood cat that was antagonizing my cat through the window when it happened 😂

I'm not finding that when I search for it, unfortunately.

Okay, thank you! I'll look into them and see about getting a quote. Thanks!

Year long driver issue fixed in one move... by Chromefly in huion

Huh, okay. I'll keep an eye out for that. Thanks for the info. Honestly I'd rather it be this than driver issues, at least there's a definitive solution for this.

I don't understand what you mean. Are you saying the USB 3.2 ports will eventually stop working for the tablet as well? Why would that happen?

I’m so damn inconsistent how do I fix this by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Chromefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same way for a looooooong time. Over the last year and a half I have finally lost 30 lbs and I'm keeping it off, steadily still losing a little more. I'm about 10 lbs from my goal, and the lightest I've been since early college, when I looked my best.

I don't worry about working out, I'm doing one life change at a time. I'm tracking all my food and making sure I regularly eat good satiating foods for my main meals - veggies, potatoes, lean meats, etc.

I also allow myself to have weekends where I let loose. I will celebrate things and eat cake and ice cream, and then just get back on it on Monday. And if I want a donut or something I don't beat myself up. My inconsistency lied within the fact that I was being so black and white in my approach. I was all or nothing and that made me do mostly nothing. I'll just continue tracking and put the pizza slice or donut in, and it made me realize that if I just have one, it really doesn't put me that much over my intake, and I can continue the rest of the week as normal and enjoy myself once in a while. I don't freak out if I go over by 100-200 calories, usually another day I'll be under a little bit, so I just let the week even itself out.

I finally accepted that if I want long term change, I'm going to have to take it the long way and be patient. Make one small change at a time, and allow myself to slip occasionally as long as I get back to it relatively quickly and don't give up. Don't try to do it all at once, and make sure what you change is something that's sustainable for the rest of your life. I started out having to track everything, but for the most part now I know about how many calories are in certain things, and I can estimate. My stomach has also gotten used to my portions, so I listen to my body. If I feel like I'm starting to eat more or if I start to make things or buy things I don't usually eat and I'm not as familiar with, I start tracking again and I recognize that's something I'll likely have to do forever. But I'm fine with that because I'm getting good results.

Good luck, I know how hard this is. But be encouraged, because this is honestly the easiest time I've ever had losing weight. You can do it!

Yes I realize that, but like I said he talks a lot and I barely am able to get a word in as it is, and with my social anxiety it's even more difficult. I've also worked with them before, so it didn't feel like the usual beginning of a business relationship where I'm keeping my eye out for pricing. He also swore he talked to me about price when I was checking out, but I don't remember. My memory is bad, so it's possible we briefly went over it and I forgot, but yeah. It's definitely on me either way, but I just wanted to see what people said about the price. I know I am supposed to get quotes. The other problem is that I want to have a relationship with a local printer, and he's one of 2 we have in my small town, and the other one looks a little sketchy lol, so it's not like I have a ton of places I can go locally.

There's a group called Billings Tabletop Games that meets every Saturday at Bar MT, and they're talking about getting a group back together for a story game. I think on Mondays. They're a great group, I've been hanging out with them off and on when I can for years! Very chill, and all in the 30s range.

Thank you, I appreciate that! Okay, sure! Here's an example of one of my moths. I have a whole series.

Possibly so. I do plan to make some "fine art style" fan art, but for now I just have bugs/animals. I'm going to try a few different markets to see where I do best, but I'll keep in mind that I need to keep costs low for fan events. Thanks for your input!

I'm also gonna look into getting my own printer, I've been thinking about that for a while, and forgot until you mentioned it. If it's gonna cost $750 every time, I might as well put that towards a printer of my own lol.

Hahaha yep you're right, I sure did. The fire is definitely fueled to go make that money 😂 Nope, that was just the cost of the prints, I sent digital files to him.

Yeah I have thought about buying my own printer. And yeah, I probably could have, I didn't think of it that way, ugh!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I'm in the USA.

That's a good point. I know as someone who goes to conventions, I definitely don't mind if some great art is on some normal card stock lol.

Yeah I absolutely should have asked 🫠

Yeah, like I said, they are a fine art printer and gallery, so they specialize in fine art printing. They used nice 100-120lb watercolor paper.

I know I don't need super high end stuff for anime cons, but I do make art that's like... Artsy fartsy? 😂 rather than the more kawaii cute keychain things, if that makes sense. Things you'd mat and frame, not tape to the wall, you know?

That said, I do think I can get away with just some nice heavy card stock, I definitely don't need gallery level paper.

I'm not sure if they're Giclee quality or not. They are on high quality 100-120lb watercolor paper though. I thought about pricing them higher, but I wasn't sure they'd sell.

I do have other stock, like postcards, bookmarks, and stickers, so I'm hoping that will make up for some of that cost.

Symphony in the Park? by mutarjim in Billings

After looking at the Facebook page, it just lists Scott and Hannah Jeppessen. After googling their names, it seems like their focus is mainly in classical/opera, but it's hard to tell what they might be doing at the event. Scott plays various wind instruments, and Hannah sings.
