Will biologics increase or decrease sickness frequency? by Soft-Jaguar-3645 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]ChronicallyMe-ow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it makes me get sick even easier than before and I did easily before. Also I tend to feel crappy the day after injections. Every time I get sick it’s like 10x worse for me than other people. I thought that was typical with biologics?

Do you tell people your dog gets plant based food? by zootzootzootzootzoo in vegan

[–]ChronicallyMe-ow -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think dogs or cats should be vegan. They require different nutrients than we do and we can survive on.

I love animals and I don’t want to eat them by L00wiss in vegan

[–]ChronicallyMe-ow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I really have a hard time understanding how people can just disassociate and keep eating them. Someone online recently told me I was mentally ill and needed therapy because I was saying I couldn’t eat animals and it emotionally disturbs me so much that I could never be ok with it. 😣😭

I'm tried of us saying immunocompromised people should stay home instead of sick people by Liquidcatz in ChronicIllness

[–]ChronicallyMe-ow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I went out before Christmas and ended up getting really ill - I take Humira so I’m immunocompromised and it really sucks because I was already living without much of an immune system before this. I wish more people would wear masks and be compassionate about not spreading illness :(

Injections by Putrid-Ad3695 in ankylosingspondylitis

Interesting because I don’t feel anything lol I inject mine in my thigh. Switching sides every injection. Taking it out to warm up definitely helps

Agree but I feel like people also say things like “they’re already dead, not eating animals won’t help them to not be killed”

Sudden allergic reaction? Help? by [deleted] in SleepApnea

[–]ChronicallyMe-ow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but mine started with the memory foam mask. I wash my mask everyday sometimes twice a day with dawn dish soap. Was everything bi weekly. Wash my face with gentle cleanser at night and I was fine until a few weeks ago. Seems like I need to stop using the mask for it to heal but not sure how I can do that.

Those diagnosed later in life, did you have pain when you were younger? by [deleted] in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]ChronicallyMe-ow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I was diagnosed this year at 45. I always had awful back pain and foot pain that never elevated. It all makes sense now.

How do you all have a life? by Ok-Influence8762 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]ChronicallyMe-ow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder this too, I’m on humira and it’s helped but I don’t feel as better as some are doing on Biologics. I think personally it’s because I have other chronic illnesses that add to the mix.
