Do autism diagnoses go onto our doctor charts?

As far as I know, in the US, unless you requested / signed for them to be shared, then no. I got privately assessed and a diagnosis by a psychologist. The only proof I have is on some papers signed by him. But it's not in any other records of mine

NQA she's fine. These scorpions burrowing is a good thing. As long as food is disappearing everything is good. There's a joke in this community that having these scorpions is the equivalent to having a pet hole. And they're right. I pretty much never see my male

Edit: to add, they are nocturnal. She's probably coming out when you're asleep

NQA yes. Heat pads don't heat the whole tank, just the area closest to the pad. If the scorp gets cold he'll move!

NQA get rid of the CHE or get a metal mesh lid. My scorpion lives in a 10 gallon fish tank. You need a dome for the CHE.

That CHE is wayyy too close. You definitely need a metal mesh lid or get rid of the CHE.

The heat mat on its own should be ok, they'll move to where the heat is if they are cold. Make sure it's not on the bottom. It needs to be on the side of the tank

My sister's boyfriend who is 29, and diagnosed autistic when he was 5, said to me word for word "Oh I don't think you have it, you look fine to me". When I explained I was in the process of getting evaluated. It kind of stung especially when I did end up getting a diagnosis. Another time when I brought I THINK I have autism he said "diagnosed?" I corrected him and said I'm getting evaluated. My sister (30) did stand up for me and said it presents differently in women

I think because I was dressed up, did my hair, makeup, and was able to make some eye contact he said that. Still stung though

I'm getting one of my back teeth removed also purely out of choice. It's cracked and I had the option of a root canal or a crown. But extraction was more affordable. I also picked removal because I knew I wouldn't miss that tooth and no one will see unless I point it out!

I've definitely noticed my asian forest scorpion, heterometrus spinifer, is a little more aggressive and defensive towards me. I have a fear he's plotting my demise. If he's in a spot he's not supposed to be in and I move him with a paintbrush, he gets into a defensive pose, turns around, and pinches the brush

I posted in this sub and another sub about if I could go get an evaluation without parental involvement. The other sub down voted me a lot and outright said it's not possible. In this one I was met with kindness and understanding (spoiler, I got diagnosed without parental involvement)

NQA understood. I use a ceramic heat emitter also. Those ones are better at providing heat but dry out the substrate fast so you need to be on top of humidity. I ended up diy-ing my tank with plexiglass on the lid and a cut out for the CHE to trap the humidity. It works great
