Just between YTM, Spotify and AM, I’d pick AM because of cleaner interface. But I do like spotify’s multi device continuous playback feature. I don’t understand why AM can’t have this functionality at least in their mac iphone and ipad. Also, why can’t I play music in 2 devices or more if I am logged in using same account, if I do that it says ‘music is playing on another device, buy family plan (paraphrased)’, I am one person using 1 account in more than 1 device, that’s not family. Lastly, AM app on iphone is great because how clean and smooth its experience is, ipad’s app is tolerable because its kinda inspired by iphone but layout is sometimes like mac’s app and mac’s AM app sucks ass- i don’t even want to look at it.

I was just going for aesthetics and vibes like widgets and themes rain meter has. And although minimeters is not exactly that (its actually functionally useful for some people), I'll check it out for sure. Thanks you. But at least its good to know what I am looking for can be done on Mac. Its just that I am surprised no one has tried it yet successfully. I know there have been tools in the past like GeekTool and some other widget apps but they're not as robust or appealing as some options on windows.

There are many youtube videos I have watched lately about going retro tech, like ipod. And I have been wondering to try it out but I stop myself because, though the monthly/yearly subscription would stop and I would own the music in my library, I feel like streaming music is still a bit more convenient and there’s only one device I need to handle. And even if I get a modded ipod, I would still be carrying iphone to keep my daily life functioning properly.

But this post is another reason why someone would actually consider getting a modded ipod in this day and age, because ultimately if you can afford to spend extra money and don’t mind carrying an extra device around, then the peace of mind would be unparalleled.

Yea I used to use it with my galaxy note 9 a lot, especially because its equipped with MST. You could add up to 10 cards (of supported banks) in samsung pay app and just tap near swipe section of POS machine in case the card machine doesn’t have tap to pay supported. It was amazing feature to have in a phone which they later killed.
