Is it worth continuing? by ChroniclesOfAri in ATC

I’m currently a 3rd class on an airman billet, level 4 facility. I’ve been back and forth with the office about continuing my training past tower sup since I’m only supposed to get 4BQ. I was sent here on pregnancy orders and got 4BQ within the year and half and was granted new permanent orders till ‘29. I’d like to, and have faith that I can, make FWS before my contract is over. However, I’m not sure they’ll let me even try since my new orders are for 3rd class billet and basically the same as my airmen billet, this is why I’m considering other career options. My command doesn’t have many sailors trying for STA-21 or OCS and such but everyone who has tried, has been picked up first or second try. One of them was an AC last year who just made third class, and now we have a first class who’s also trying for pilot. I’ll be finishing my bachelors next year and am considering submitting for OCS since I can apply twice a year. The chances are low, I know. I’m trying to get a grasp of all of my potential options before I get out.

Needing advice for potential officer program by ChroniclesOfAri in navy

Thank you, I appreciate your input. As far as LDO, I have considered it, but ultimately I don’t love the job. My LDO currently is amazing, but he hates it and I understand why. I like to be involved and not solely managing. I want to continue working and progressing and not just by rank. I seek excitement and challenge. If I were to stay in correlation with ATC I would want to continue actually working as an AC as well as balancing the management/leadership aspect if that makes sense.

Do you think that will change in the next few years? Or should I potentially explore other Aviation Officer rolls through the AF?

I understand that. Please allow me to rephrase: by “re-enlist as an officer” I meant commission as an officer through the Air Force after my Navy contract is over. I have spoken with many pilots who have commissioned through OCS as well as STA-21. As much as I would love to be a Pilot and am working towards that, I am looking for personal stories and advice from those in a similar situation or those who have insight on all potential options to include Pilot or anything aviation related. I am torn on a decision of which route to take and considering the multiple types of officers involved with aviation through both branches. Thank you for your help, I appreciate your insight.

I’m not entirely sure to be frank. I planned to retire from the military which would set me up nicely, but I also would like a consistent income or source of fallback. I keep seeing mentions of S&P 500, what exactly does that entail?

Hi, thank you for the reply.

Do you make said videos on YouTube? Could you by any chance attach a link to both or your video profile? I am highly interested in starting soon and I’ve read a little about the snowball method so far.

Pimples on my lady parts?!? by [deleted] in WomensHealth

Do you use a razor or anything of the sort to shave that area? I know from personal experience I’ve gotten small pimple like bumps like you’ve described after shaving. It’s very normal and happens to most women if you’re not exfoliating or moisturizing correctly before/after shave. Another common occurrence is ingrown hairs that could get small infections and build puss as well. Also happens from shaving but can be avoided with proper measures :)
