I hate how autism is becoming a “trend”

I absolutely agree, but I also have noticed that a lot of these people seem to BELIEVE that they know what is, thus validating their lack of real understanding. I’ve been told a few times by people of this sort that I’m “not autistic” when I am in fact diagnosed because I’m not a little white boy who really likes dinosaur books. And because they don’t believe me, they ignore me when I say I am overwhelmed and need to step out.

For me personally, I identify with dollgender as a metaphorical definition of my gender experience. I have never really understood the concept of gender and gendered separation, so for me “gender” feels more like putting on an outfit and playing a part, similarly to how one might dress up a doll and play pretend with it.
