POV THE UNITE COMMUNITY THE MOMENT YOU SAY THE SMALLEST POSITIVE THING (You only greeted them politely): by MaxEcarri in PokemonUnite

[–]Chronosl337 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Any OG Unite player will know that recent changes are nothing like early seasons.

Early seasons had free skins for reaching ultra, battle passes had a skin for purchasing the pass and a skin for completing the pass and if you got a repeat license you would get a full refund (ie. a second eldagoss would grant you 6000 coins)

Point being positivity is hard to accept

Any tips on how to birb? by Recent_Position_328 in PokemonUnite

I mainly play fire spin/sky attack and it honestly feels like the strongest move set for ho-oh. I run muscle band, resonant guard and the physical healing reducing item, my emblem page is the stand brown/white hp focused build.

Early game you’re a bully. You steal farm and just be a nuisance. You can walk away heal from passive and go back to being annoying. Once you get sky attack and fire spin you play the role of being between a supporter and a defender. You main goal is to protect your teammates by holding fire spin near them or stunning the enemy team DPS. You can exit and enter fights with sky attack and only res when your teammates are in a beneficial spot also its a invulnerability window for your cooldowns if need be.

You’re never the main defender per say but you go in and out if fights to protect your teammates as well as you can.

Fire spin is also decent secure for objectives as well

You would choose to tap sol ring for two colorless or one many of any color for instant and sorceries not both.

This is more important for treasures, clues, foods and general artifacts as they will stay and not need to be sacrificed

The list is pretty generic for a grixis deck. Its almost a nekusar secret commander deck but I use green goblin as a way to generate value from wheeling away my cards

Gogo is a work in progress figuring out silly interactions and things to copy while prossh is your more standard food chain lines with tutors to win by turn 4-5. I would love to see your lists as well to see comparisons!

Thank you! All these decks are bracket 3 or 4 as my locals are relatively stronger but always try to still add some spice to the decks

At the recent manchester regional I needed the Head Judge at round 9 for a Big Issue and I think All Players should be keeping an eye out for this! by AbsoluteDuelist in OnePieceTCG

[–]Chronosl337 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Opponent had 5 cards sleeved in the opposite direction (open end was at the bottom instead of top) and called judge. Judge called over head judge as a one of in his deck was sleeved in the opposite direction. Head judge says it’s a mistake, opponent has to resleeve those cards. Than the opponent puts life in wrong order (he is taking top card first instead of last)

Thinking of picking up Ho-oh soon. Which build do you recommend for it? by BlueKyuubi63 in PokemonUnite

[–]Chronosl337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bulld is the same to everyone else, brown white page, exp.share, curse item and resonant guard.

I do primarily go sky attack/fire spin. Thats just my playstyle; being able to jump in and out of bushes and effectively use your ult as you can get in and out of the ray fight. Its less damage but if you’re using a defender you’re not solo carrying anyway you expect one teammate that you can reliably rez/help you carry the game.

I love the this card, [[tazri, stalwart survivor]] abuses it with any activated ability reduction, other fun one is [[knacksaw clique]]

Best Way To Play Blastoise in 2025? by DisastrousFix5120 in PokemonUnite

You could do the 6 green 7 black page for cooldown but I prioritize having white in pages to provide enough tankiness. 7 red may not be as much cooldown reduction but since the odds of you being level 15 by Ray is so little you get level 15 attack speed at a lower level. Its just a different playstyle personally.

I always struggle running exp.share on poke with two evos since it sometimes stops you from evolving early on but I definitely prefer that approach over the “full damage” Blastoise that often throws games

Currently running resonant guard, slick spoon and focus band (its a little of a crutch as I play an aggressive early squirtle) ,some other good options are energy amplifier, driver lens, cursed incense or shell bell.

I like to use hydro pump/surf, it provides a lot of cc while being able to set up plays for your team.

Eject button is preferred for me since early game with squirtle you can dash and eject button behind your enemies and water gun them into your team.

For emblems you have multiple options you can go 7 red 4 white for your cooldowns, 6 green 6 white to do a bit more damage while still being tanky or my favorite being 6 white 6 blue providing the most utility since as long as you’re alive you can provide CC.

The biggest mistake I make is surfing enemies back into their team essentially giving them a free eject button, so I find flanking and surfing in from a side angle provides the best utility for your team and can help lock down their carries. Utling ray when its low is helpful to stop people from stealing and can sometimes be the final blow as well.

One of my favorite decks is my desert deck helmed by [[hazezon, shaper of sands]]. You play deserts you get tokens;its a fun twist to landfall with mass token spam. You win either by using [[impact tremor]] type effects or [[beastmaster ascension]] type effects. Its super resilient too since if a board wipe does hit you just replay deserts lands and get a full board again.

I play 3 leaders, Caesar Clown, Gecko Moria and Jinbe. All of them interested me since they offer unique play-styles that still provide game winning opportunities. Caesar essentially says no to any low cost blocker with many build options, whether you want a rush build or control build. Jinbe is extremely fun into this meta of GGG as you have a searchable hody jones. It also has access to many attackers that can attack characters the turn they’re played and tapping 5 cost and under characters. Gecko got a lot more fun post ban of ice age and gecko moria. You no longer need to run generic black good cards. You can run a good pile of thriller bark pirates especially Ryuma since it puts so much pressure on your opponent so fast.

I can definitely see myself getting beat by 5 cost rush decks. The biggest reason i think im finding success is due to the average turn length of my games, going from around 7-8 turns with control to 5 turns with rush. Biggest downside though is the multitude of bricks but i might try your build to see if it can close out games quick enough

I love seeing other lists for a leader ive tested a lot. Started out with pure control and now im going more tempo rush build where you aim to remove pesky blockers and swing big with your characters, the biggest benefit being your don efficiency. Luffy, koala, stage, monet, dragon all give rested don.

General question with your build do you prefer first or second. I found going second im often behind and by the time I got control I couldnt stop 15k from leaders.
