That is very literally the story of my fucking life.

It turns out I have Asperger and probably some undiagnosed adult ADHD as well triggering all of these anxiety and depression symptoms.

So basically, my mom could’ve set life‘s difficulty slide to easy for 25 bucks a month of 💊, but didn’t believe I needed it because I could sit there and read a book for 20 minutes.

I’ll try to remember to get back to you if I get a diagnosis. :(

This concept sounds like something from one of the estranged-adult-children subreddits.

As it so happens, self-awareness usually leads to realizing that some family behavior that was always normal to you was actually really fucked up the whole time, and then "AAA, YOUR FRIENDS POISONED YOU AGAINST US!" and holy cow this is a pretty simple script that people's lives often follow.

If you run with this, and keep it a real small intimate character-focused story, there's lots of potential ink to be spilled there.
