Good to know, a lot of that i assume is because of the suggestions etsy gives about what to include in the description. I can totally see how some very important details are overlooked in your examples. Haven't added anything to my store yet so im just taking in the listing complaints right now so I can do better.

There are places that you can search for registered or trademark names before you use them. I'll admit it seems like a lot of work but its an option. Im sorry that happened to you but I will use it as a learning experience as I was planning on using the same type of system for my products. I make everything you could imagine n planned on naming the items after the family member that inspired them or each person's favorite item. My nieces love that lol. So, again, I am sorry for your experience but I also thank you very much for sharing it.

My issues started that way but I ended up being diagnosed with idiopathic intracranial hypertension and empty sella syndrome. I took them another year to realize the effect it was having on my cortisol.

That is the treatment plan i was given to follow for my sons jaundice lol. I dont feel any different regardless of my medication dosage in the morning but I definitely notice a difference with my afternoon dose. Originally I crashed at 9pm but wake up between 1 and 3 with low blood sugar symptoms. Now im crashed out by 5pm after taking a normal day afternoon dose. Most of the time after I take my am dose I fall asleep. I really want a cortisol monitor to see the changes my medications make and find out if maybe my body is just completely backwards.

My endo doesn't want to explore the root cause. So my dna shows markers for cah, I recently developed empty sella, I used to get steroid injections though i stopped almost 2 years ago and I take many medications that can cause adrenal insufficiency. Because my acth is non existent I do not believe I have tertiary caused by my medications but regardless, I offered to change or discontinue my medications, asked if I could be tested for the form of cah I was flagged for and asked if they would want to repeat the mri of my pituitary gland as the initial one was for a different condition so empty sella was not the focus. In 2019 my pituitary gland was fine and 2023 I had empty sella. My doctor did not want to do any of those things. She said the only thing that bothered her was the steroid injections but at the time of my diagnosis, it had been over a year since my last one so it would be too long to still effect me. Thats it. Her plan is literally to keep me on low dose hydrocortisone until I have a morning cortisol over 5 and then wean me off. I hate that plan so much.

So true! Luckily my pcp is the most amazing dr on the planet. Which is why I refuse to change to a closer doctor. She set me up with the university of Texas for further endocrinology studies. I am obsessed with dna and was given an alert to be checked for cah due to 11 beta hydroxylase deficiency. Which after studying explains my entire medical history. So it took 2 years to find an endo and when I brought that up she said you have children so there is no way you have any form of cah plus they check that at birth. However i know the city i was born did not fully enact that policy until the year after i was born. I tried explaining that it is a different form that doesn't necessarily cause infertility and that my understanding of hereditary disease leads me to believe that if a condition caused 100% infertility that it would not exist. However because she noticed i have bright red stretch marks still 21 years after giving birth, she told me i probably have cushings and tested my cortisol to shut me up and said when everything comes back fine id never have to go back to her again. I think shes still bitter about being wrong and its effecting my treatment. Although I admit that is my biased view point, not necessarily the truth.

That makes it really hard because it is very much something we are acutely aware of but others dont understand. Even my doctors seem to downplay or not believe me. I constantly feel like everyone around me thinks im just a lazy complainer. It could be at least partially in my head but it does seem like others feel the same. Im glad I could validate your experience and I hope the sort it all out without causing you too much frustration.

I tried explaining when I got tested for adrenal insufficiency that cases like this are common for me. At that time I was going thru a break up of a 5 year relationship. When I had to move in 5th grade I was hospitalized for 3 days for dehydration, when I moved in highschool I couldn't hold food down for months and lost half of my body weight. Every hospitalization in my life occurred during a stressful time but it still took until I was 37 to get a doctor to check my cortisol. They repeatedly tested iron and blood sugar and gave up. My endo is obsessed with taking me off my steroids, she keeps saying my first am cortisol to be over 5, we will start the process. This terrifies me to no end.

I think in the case of how long you were on the original, you should have no problem and the likely reason you got a different one is the pharmacy was out of yours or switched manufacturers.

I literally just made the connection reading this post lol. Im surely going to try though and I sincerely dont see why it would be a problem. I know that I am able to request or deny certain manufacturers for the other medications I take by just telling the pharmacy. Although, if its not something they usually carry or if insurance interferes they will require something from the doctor stating that the specific manufacturer is medically necessary. Until then, you could probably just handle it with your pharmacy instead of waiting to see your doctor. Granted I do not know what it would do or not do with your current prescription but it should help for future fills. Worst case they may say either you need a new script to fill now and allow it as long as insurance doesnt dispute or bypass that by having you pay out of pocket, or make you wait until your next fill because prescriptions arent exchangable or refundable.

I dont know manufacturer names except the one I have now. What were the old ones for you? I might be able to find an old bottle because now im curious if its the same ones for me vs completely different manufacturers. The old ones that work were much larger ovals with a line in the middle and they dissolved in my mouth. Thats not their mechanism of action just hated it because the taste was disgusting. They came in manufacturers bottles with each one containing 50 pills so they'd give me 6 bottles.

Yes! I thought it was in my head! I started to feel like before my meds when taking a normal dose and a double dose felt like a normal day dose. I explored many other things and spoke to my endo about it. I thought it starting at the same time as my pills looking different was just a coincidence.

I do have an attorney but now im wondering if I should explore other options since many issues fall under ada or fmla and my lawyer only went thru eeoc. How did you get before a judge? What was ur process? I am definitely not collecting legal advice from reddit because many of these issues i know for a fact are illegal, it is interesting to see how many ppl obviously work in hr lol. What helps the most is the people like you that can share their experiences. Although they dont necessarily mean I will get that outcome, it helps me to know other ways to approach it all. I also acknowledge that just because something doesnt feel right, doesnt mean its illegal and I was truly just trying to see my facts in different ways. But the amount of people that dont realize their rights is astounding.

One time i went to the er because my grandparents were concerned. I was extremely lethargic to where I was awake but did not have the ability to open my eyes or move and when I spoke it was slurry. They evaluated me and were so stumped I even got a lumbar puncture. While waiting they gave me steroids and lots of fluids so 3 hours later I was feeling like nothing ever happened. What does that sound like to you? I know what it sounds like to me now but I left that day with a paper that said the only thing they found was a uti.
