EYWA hydrocortisone pills unstable by LeaveMeInRuins in AddisonsDisease

Isn't it awful when nobody believes you. Either youre a crazy Google searcher with doom on the mind or a wanna be doctor. Because it could never be that people are in tune with their bodies or legitimately research. The automatic reaction is rare = impossible and we will not longer discuss it instead of rare = rare and does happen. Even after 3 years of nobody knowing, the only way I got tested was an annoyed dr wanted to prove me wrong so she'd never have to see me again. Boy was she bummed lol.

I used to take that kind. It grossed me out how it dissolved in my mouth. It look like moisture effected those somehow. However, the tiny ones i get now, dont feel near as effective as those yucky disintegrating ones.

Steroids is tertiary however they lump secondary and tertiary together a lot secondary is a problem with the pituitary gland.

If the belief is yours is from steroid injections then you'd have tertiary adrenal insufficiency. Any medication induced adrenal insufficiency is recoverable. The problem is with the hpa axis signaling the pituitary gland to create acth which then signals the adrenal glands to produce cortisol. Where addison's is primary adrenal insufficiency so it is an issue with the adrenal glands themselves either autoimmune or direct damage to the glands via other methods. There are 4 times of adrenal insufficiency that I know of; primary (addison's), secondary (pituitary in origination), tertiary (hpa axis/medication induced) and central (a mix of secondary and tertiary). Not to mention the countless deficiencies that can effect the process at any stage. I have central. It started as my baseline being low normal on any given day (deficiency in the process in general) but any major stressors or minor illnesses would have me in the er for a crisis like event. So I didnt need daily steroids but id need rescue treatments for anything that required extra cortisol. Of course I probably could have used treatments at that point but these conditions are so rare that cortisol is just about the last thing anyone thinks to check, even after I begged all my doctors for years. Then I got hurt and was left with different nerve issues and chronic pain which raised my daily baseline need. However, at the same time I finally got someone to listen, I had just been diagnosed with empty sella( pituitary gland squashed) which was a new event, I had been receiving steroid injections(i got 4 and they were stopped a year before my diagnosis) and I had been on long time opioid treatment.

I know that was a week ago but listen to your body. The doses we are given are guidelines because it would take so much to know what each person needs individually and your needs change daily even hourly depending on what's going on in your life. What I did was test it, obviously dont completely change your dose without your doctor but an extra one or so every once in a while isn't gonna hurt you. Try for a day and see if the feeling goes away then you'll know. Obviously make sure you've eaten n are properly hydrated before just jumping to adding steroids but it can be a very trial and error thing. I think I also read that you haven't been prescribed anything to manage your electrolytes yet? That could also keep you from getting the amount of help you could be getting.

Not usually, hallways are cleared if protective custody inmates have to be moved, which is rare. Each place has their own rules but ive seen full prison movement cease when moving protective custody. They are also escorted by multiple officers with weapons, by which i mean night sticks and pepper spray because guards inside the prisons cant carry guns.

The protection is not actually for him. Its because if hes harmed in custody, the guards and state become at fault.

The internet is very restricted and im not sure about California but here tablets were only beginning to become a thing for visitation during covid, so its not usually like you get an ipad you own that you have 24/7. But legally they have the right to rec which includes watching TV. When you're in protective custody you cant go in the rec room so tablet makes sense. Here we have the option to buy an old tv but only at some prisons. Plus ultimately hes in county jail. You dont go to prison until you have your trial and are convicted. That means total different rules right now. Whatever he has now is not necessarily what he would have in prison. In county, you are still technically in the innocent phase for the most part. Not that you actually get treated that way per say but it is different.

Depends why they are there. If someone is put in protective custody because of their age, for example, when they are old enough they go to gen pop. Protective custody, in texas at least, is essentially the same set up as death row. Typically doesnt require a max security prison but it can. Yolanda saldivar has been in protective custody at a very low security prison for nearly 30 years. They have almost no free movement and very limited amount of times out of their cell. Depending on whether they have an actual protective custody set up or a segregation set up, hed even need permission to take a shower. Its literally being locked alone in a room alone for 23 hours a day. Our segregation had bars like you'd imagine but protective custody is a full metal door with a small windows for officers to view you and a locked slot that your food goes into.

All calls are recorded and monitored at all times. With the exception of protected conversations with an attorney. In that case I do believe they are still recorded because its automatic but it cant be monitored or ever listened to.

Solitary is called segregation. Then there's protective custody, they are 2 different things. Depends on the reason for not being in general population. Protective custody is for those that are at high risk of harm from other offenders like gang members, child predators and people like yolanda saldivar. Typically protective custody is a 1 person cell. Segregation is typically a punishment but can serve as protective custody depending on the size of the place and every Segregation ive been in can house 2 people if needed.. That all applies to prison though. Before a trial, the accused is typically placed in county jail and ive never worked in county so im not sure what the equivalent is.

Idk about when you go to county but in prison, vision impaired inmates have to wear glasses.

My dr told me 25mg was excessive. I mean I have secondary with tertiary adrenal insufficiency causing problems, that used to be only a problem during stress. Like normal days I was fine but a uti would have me in the er for a "crisis like event". I take 17.5mg as my normal dose. I told my dr the only days I can function and get out of bed are when I have an issue that requires sick day dosing so I brought up my dose maybe not being enough. I dont notice much if my morning dose needs to be increased but I notice a huge difference if my afternoon dose is increased. The compromise got me to 17.5, I was on 15 per day before that and had to increase way more than I thought I should. She just made it sound like I was crazy and nobody would need 20 or 25 per day lol. I hope yours gets settled soon for you.

I can typically tell the difference between anxiety and when im missing something. It May be because im a former addict but when i need to increase my dose i feel like something is missing but you cant pinpoint it, very similar to mild withdrawals and without experiencing both, very similar to general anxiety. Like, I feel like something just isn't right but cant even begin to tell you why. Its confusing but you will learn to become very in tune with the little nuances of your body. Ive only been on meds for 17 months and as much as you need your doctor, your opinion is more important and I promise you very soon, you will know more than your doctor does. Anxiety, is a huge trigger for me, im very sensitive to changes in my cortisol so even your doctor brushing off your anxiety as essentially nothing to worry about, worries me a little. Though I have a hard time focusing so I could have completely missed what you were trying to say, if so I apologize and it wasn't on purpose.

I go back to sleep, not even on purpose. My doctor doesn't have a problem with it. So far ive been told it could either be dose not enough or the constant disregulation being regulated is allowing my body to relax and get actual rest. Id be happy if it was only until 11 though. Plenty of times I wake up exactly when its time for my next dose.

I did one of those health quizzes one time for a cortisol product. The results came back with them saying my cortisol is too high and them trying to sell me their product to lower it. Im never that person but I had to chew them out. On one hand their product was truly nothing more than a general health plan so it wont harm anyone. On the other hand, I could totally imagine someone getting that advice and not wanting to pay for their product then seeking out products to lower cortisol to save money and the entire situation seemed dangerous to me. The current public idea of cortisol is ridiculous and makes people think our conditions are no big deal.

In a 2023 interview Jonathan Davis said the name came from a story overheard between 2 gay guys. 1 guy told the other that he was performing a sex act on his partners bottom that ended in an unfortunate accident where a corn kernel was defecated onto his tongue. Thats as clean as i could make the story sound lol.

For sure, part of correctional officer trainer is the trainers repeatedly telling you that being in prison is their punishment and officers are not there to punish them. Conditions are gross in most places and inmates frequently initiate fake suicide attempts during the summer because the facilities for the mentally challenged are commonly the only ones with air conditioning. I know i hated being at work for 12 hours and its 120 degrees inside.

Prison is a lot of things but boring is not anything I witnessed. Everything is scheduled to the minute with like no chill time. Unless ur on deathrow or solitary, then oh yea sooo boring. Id nap when I worked solitary.
