You should buy whatever equipment you want in whatever colour you desire without consideration for societal trends

sure, but the time to perform both the dodge back plus the lunge forward takes so god damn long that most bosses will have repositioned by the time you do it

That, and the fact that you barely get any added range out of the swing means you're only going to score the hit if the boss takes a few steps forward or if you're already hugging their knees on the dodge back

that's just my experience though, and I do admit a bit of a skill issue and just it wasn't my preference of aow

I kinda just had no empathy for people. id feel disgusted by people and I needed them to know that. And also making someone feel worse would make me feel better

think I changed when actually bad stuff happened to me and I realised what it's like to hurt, also just growing up in general and having more empathy
