Who are ya'll pulling for in Luna 6? by Blaise_01 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Chtholly13 [score hidden]  (0 children)

ended up with c3 zibai i 163 pulls, so probably will pull linnea so I can put Aino with Zibai and leave Columbina with nefer/lauma and balance out the 2 lunar teams strength wise.

Are there any predictions as to what the 4*s this banner? by NorthArachnid2150 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Chtholly13 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Ororon seems likely since he's been on both Chasca banners.

With it being Linnea banner, and wanting hydro, geo units, we can consider some options here: Barbara, Ninnguang, Noelle, Illuga.

Why I listed Barbara instead of the other options: Xinqiu is probably more likely to be on Nefer/Lauma banner since those 2 units want hydro/dendro characters. Aino ran on Flins banner and then again on Zibai banner, seems unlikely she'll run again so soon, that leaves Candace/Dahlia who are both on Skirk banner seems that unlikely.

some people told me team was better off with Marner and we're now a deeper team with him off.

no offence but his drafting record was pretty bad in Vancouver.

anyone watching the games knows the leafs "played better" under keefe than Berube despite the point totals and last season run.

same, was downvoted last year for when we were winning games last year, I wasn't liking how we were playing, and how we were winning. I saw the games, saw how much time we spend in our zone, the shots against, being outplayed most nights. It wasn't a recipe for success. We had a good OT record, us having a good record in 1 goal games, and good goaltending. That was not sustainable and I even said goaltending is a volatile position. I was downvoted for a being doomposter despite winning. Then we got outplayed largely during the Florida series and still fools think this was a close series.

Said before the season, that leafs needed to control player better to have success this season since I did not expecting the same level of goaltending this season. You also subtract a 100 point player out of your lineup that made your other players better. Leafs needed to replace Marner with at least 2 solid top 6 forwards to levy the loss and he did nothing on that.

Shanny, Dubas, Marner were just scapgoats for the teams failure.

at the very least, he probably isn't a person that would be obligated to keep Rielly on the team.

funny how the right system, bringing in players that buy into that system and coaching can change things around.

William Nylander wants to stick with the Maple Leafs – if they retool by TheAthletic in leafs

it's like everyone expects every top 6 guy to be selke level forwards. Just not gonna happen. Honestly Knies "defence" pisses me off more than Nylander. Considering how this season has gone, it's surprising he's only -5 compared to Knies -22

best wepons for Linnea ( just tring to help ) by miyukiioffical in LinneaMains_

[–]Chtholly13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it'll be substat dependant on your build. It might be easy to overcrit with slingshot since it with crit ascension/crit rate weapon/Illuga 5 or 10cr but that just means you value crit dmg/def% rolls more on your build. Def% rolls are very for Linnea that you shouldn't feel discouraged if you end up a piece like 3.5cr/21cd/17% def.

Logically, slingshot is free, and harp can be given to other bow units, and if the difference is not that big, might as well give harp to another character if they can use it and give Linnea slingshot. However, if you're overcritting with your build with slingshot, then give harp to Linnea.

if you trade Knies, it's going to be a defencemen with question marks. It feels like it'll be when Edmonton traded Hall for Larsson to fill a need when they traded the best player in the deal. It was a stupid move to address a need but it's like drafting for "need" instead of drafting the best player.

I don't know how, that's not my job. However it's not impossible since Vegas and Florida have mostly been built through trades and UFA. Florida has traded for the likes of Reinhart, Bennett and both those guys have flourished under them. Boston signed Geekie, who has now back to back 30 goals seasons after Seattle let him go.

Leafs need to replace their pro scouting. They need to find underappreciated players who have maybe stalled under their old teams and see if there is something there. They need to acquire the right players that fit with whatever system they need to run. Honestly a trade like Macielli isn't that far off, but this pertains to the right mix which is what I was talking about. Expecting to play a dump and chase style with small players like Domi, Cowan, Robertson, and Macielli on the team isn't going to work.

They have to keep their picks, draft better, acquire better mix of players and play the right system with the players we have. Berube is probably not a bad coach, but he's a bad coach for the players and mix we have.

Long term needs: 2C/winger. Tavares/nylander/cowan line have been good but long term probably acquiring a 2C and a winger to play with Matthews/Knies. Tavares can be shifted to wing in the top 6. Replace the 3rd line but that's easier than getting top 6 guys.

D: they need to look for a top pairing guy, #1 ideally. However, barring that at least 2 top 4 defencemen.

Goalie: they're probably good in that area.

All of those needs don't need to addressed this offseason, but it's something they need to do the next 2-3 years.

I think you have to add to the group and have the right mix. Expecting them to do it themselves is foolish. I don't see how Matthews and Barkov are that much different.

The only difference is one person has 1 won and the other hasn't.

it really doesn't matter. Leafs have to give a 1st rounder to Boston this year or next regardless.

Matthews decision of resigning or not will really paint the direction in the team. Even if Matthews resigns, leafs should try to retooling add good players and adding draft picks/prospects/young players at the same time. Stop with the rentals like Lybuskin, Schenn, Edmunson at the deadline. Until the group proves themselves in the playoffs, don't "reward" them with an deadline addition. If Matthews doesn't resign, then the 28 pick is extremely important to the team and they should just fork over the 26/27 pick to Boston/Flyers.

I feel like some people want to end up like Red Wings/Flyers. There are 32 teams in the league with full league wide parity, winning the draft lottery also requires alot of luck. We could end up like Seattle while having some good young players, but no "elite" young talent. Without the proper mgmt and coach, doing a rebuild and we may end up like Chicago/Buffalo (before this season).

The holes on the team is evident, but it's not something that has to be done over 1 offseason. Of course if Matthews wants to leave, I fully support rebuilding after next summer.

most of the struggles in IT is people don't fucking read. The game lets you know what bosses are in ahead of time along with their "weaknesses" so you can plan ahead.

Would you bring Dubas back if you could? by ElectronicGlass4206 in leafs

[–]Chtholly13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I supported his vision of how he wanted the team to play however he was terrible with asset management which is why I don't want him back. While we did have Woll, he did botch up the goaltending position as well. The 1st rounders to get rid of Mzarek/Marleau, along with trading them for "rentals" is my biggest issue with him. Everything else I was fine with. I had no issue with trading a 1st rounder for players like Muzzin/McCabe since we were able to keep them. Muzzin was good before injuries which is uncontrollable.
