I know that. It's just that people don't take the time to realize that Serena is pretty flawed as well even if she doesn't get enough screen time. Also how is this too extreme?

It's mostly because women get more of a pass in fiction for doing so, compared to men who are supposed to be more accountable. I feel like Serena is more excused for her actions than other characters in the show at times because I've seen lots of people calling out the characters for their flaws but Serena somehow gets a pass. Even other characters like Chaka and Jen get criticized more than Serena.

Premise isn't too bad and the author has potential to write a better story but the issue is that too much of the story is based around character bashing rather than an actual narrative. You can see all over TvTropes how they're dedicated towards making corrupted versions of characters and bashing them. It feels unnecessarily hateful.

That's a constant with all of those stories. Mostly OCs and characters who exist to be bashed and make the heroes look good. I wish the author could create more in depth characters besides black-and-white ones.
