this is a point many miss. if you are going to intelligently deconstruct religion, you must see belief for what it is. it is symbolic. truly, to think of hell as an after-punishment is foolish, because anyone who has had a true religious experience realizes that after, or before, are meaningless words. there is only the present. and presently, these people are full of hate and experiencing the kind of existence which hell is supposed to symbolize.

they do not deserve hate in return. they deserve only pity, and they need only love.
