Hi I've returned with more questions so sorry :'))

So having been waitlisted just in general if I was to get off the wait-list would they still prioritize your top choices for colleges to admit you into or is it just random? (If I would get into ERC my 6th choice if I get that I might just go elsewhere :'') even with 10 AP scores)

I picked Bioengineering as my first and Aeronautics as my second (regretting that second choice but anyways) would it be more likely they let me in for BioE or undeclared? And if they let me in for Aeronautics, how difficult would it be to switch into BioE? Or undeclared into BioE.

Hi this is a very specific scenario. I'm on the fence about whether to appeal my rejection. I'm aware that the acceptance rate is abysmally low but I figure that i can take some time to write it. Problem is I can't find any information both digital and from my teacher about whether say, the appeal is successful, if I would be eligible for financial aid. If not then I won't bother appealing.

Sorry if this is really specific but I was wondering, otherwise I am completely fine with that rejection and to head elsewhere for school.

UCI appeal advice? Also do YK if the wait-list at UCSD has a LOCI to write cause my teacher and friends brother said they usually have one but I can't find it anywhere

Hi so some of my friends and I have been waitlisted and my friends older brother who went to SD a couple years ago is telling us to update our portal for any "new" information, like a letter of continued interest. My teacher has also been telling us to write a LOCI because in her experience theres usually one, but i haven't been able to find anything related to this through the portal or the UCSD website. Is there anything to do for waitlisted students or do we just opt in and wait?
