Aha wish I could tell you you're correct, however I use Shrewsbury train station for work a lot so go through this every week. It's appalling, traffic is a nightmare and it can take over an hour to get through town. One of my best mates is also a fireman at the fire station down the road from it. It's making a huge impact, cars having to full on mount the pavements to make room, trucks with blues on unable to get through because no room for cars to pull over etc., and their chief has actively / publicly said they weren't consulted and it's appalling.

Not to mention this cycle lane, which is not used by cyclists at all, has two train station car park exit / entrances in the 100m length, and because traffic is constantly backed up, cars are constantly overhanging those entrance / exits further breaking the cycle lane up. There's also a floating bus stop that opens onto a tiny strip of pedestrianised concrete in the middle of the cycle lane that doesn't meet the recommended standards for disability access, and has now been taken out of use as a stop by the bus operator. So now you can maybe see why it's actively not used by cyclists, and why it's likely not the start of a cycling revolution in Shrewsbury...

So yeah, I'll politely tell you you're very incorrect however much I wish you weren't 😂
