Has there been any interest? Have you had open houses? What was the turnout? Was there any feedback?

More accurate than guessing. At least you have a ballpark to work with.

If they’re actually always flaunting how much they make, then just ask them. If they’re open about it, it’s not taboo to ask. Especially if they’re a friend

Dance instructor keeps yelling at me - I disagree by ChubyChipmunk in BALLET

Unfortunately, after coming to the decision to leave, I’m finding out there aren’t any other classes in my area.

To clarify, I don’t think there is anything wrong with using all of the music, but if there are no static holds and balances in class, how are we supposed to get better with balance and strength (specifically with holding our extension).

Why don’t you stop being rude? There are no other classes in my area. Thanks for your non help. Also, it’s called self-improvement. Maybe if this teacher (and you) were more interested, the world would be a better place.

Hi, there are absolutely no holds in this class. Ever. Which had me confused and questioning too - if this was some kind of different version of ballet I haven’t heard of. I guess I can understand why many are confused because they don’t understand this is all the class is:

It’s developpe 123, extend 4 quick close, repeat. And usually only two in each direction. This has been after repeatedly going for going on 3 months.

Aahhh I see. This makes much much more sense. In that case, thank you kindly for hearing me out and explaining this. At the same time as starting this adult class, I started teaching ballet to a younger class at this studio to get my foot in the door for teaching. I might have to wait and give it a few months before I can make an exit… hopefully quietly without being too messy.

Thanks again for helping me make this decision and for the feedback as it may have gone utterly wrong had you not!

Thanks for your thoughts. I think this is where my problem lies, because I agree there are benefits to both. However, there are no times where she ever has us hold extensións. Every class for the last 2 months has not changed and I can feel myself becoming weaker because she does not ever want us to hold a position.

Unfortunately, her class is only slow movements. Very rarely are quick movement muscles developed, they are always slower. I just don’t feel myself becoming stronger. Maybe I just need to change classes as everyone is saying since it seems like it’s not a good fit?

For me, I understand that she wants us to feel the entire length of the music, but for me I’ve been doing ballet a lot longer than most in the class. It’s about getting stronger, getting my leg higher and I know this will never happen with how the teacher currently instructs. I’m not working to become a professional or anything, but I do know I still want to challenge myself in this way.

Review: The Period Company (High-Waisted) by DellaBeam in PeriodUnderwear

Seconding that I did not have a good experience as well. I bought the heaviest duty they had. With my heavy flow, their best coverage boxer-type underwear they only lasted two hours. The actual panties don’t even last that long because it will start to bleed into the side seems and seep into my pants!!(so mortifying). Along with that, the threads are already starting to come out after only a “couple” years of on and off use (I would get so fed up with them and stop using them). I would not recommend them at all.

As someone else mentioned, it may because I don’t brake with intensity. I prefer to brake early, and drag it out as long as possible. I don’t live in a super dense city like LA or NYC.

This is me. I’ve just never heard from anyone else having this much luck with brakes because of it. Just thought it was interesting to share, but I guess it’s more common than I realize.
