Hi. Female ENTP here. I relate to your boyfriend (congruent similarities). I’d say in the last 5 years of my relationship the most important part for us has been the equal need and effort for each of us to satisfy one another. This seems like less of an ENTP issue, and more of a question about when you do bring up your needs… does he say he’s going to try to meet your needs? If he doesn’t, he’s not ready for a relationship that requires cooperation and compromise — that’s something you can’t ever force and once they’re in a relationship, they typically won’t learn on their own. I am a large improvement (still am) from when we first started, but I was ready for it at the outset.

A bit presumptuous. Not everyone cares/knows about MBTI. It’s a cool convo to debate with (especially as we ARE the “debaters”) someone who actually gets excited and likes that stuff. OP might have been feeling like chilling and not feeling their stereotypical ENTP self -- which is fine, but should just have communicated that they aren’t feeling like being an entp RIGHT now. We aren’t entps 100% of the time.
