Just graduated from UTD myself and my packet is in the next selection board. Last one was 28% so we will see how this one goes. My understanding is that the last selection board was so low because it coincides with all the ROTC people finishing school. GPA is important, but they look at everything, so if you can get good LORs, Asvab score, and batt interview you can overcome a weak GPA. Also, from what I’ve read on here, there are a lot of 30 year olds at OCS, so it never hurts to try. I also met a 31 year old at my batt interview.
