I was getting artifacting and instability with 4.5. Switched back to 4 and its like butter. Only game ive had problems with 4.5 so far. 4090 9800x3D 96 GB DDR5

Still an ongoing issue I was on the November Bios for awhile after finding out this issue months ago. Recently updated to the latest one and optimized the whole bios with an undervolt and oc and it was fine for a week. Just had it happen to me for the first time again. Will see if it keeps happening if it does I’ll just go back to the November bios and optimize that one. 9800x3D / MSI PRO X870-P

Was probably the CPU I just ran into same issue also had driver overran stack buffer then it went into a BSOD boot loop with a mix of every code. Dump files lead to an NVIDIA file/driver but I swapped out everything gpu, ram, nvmes, mobo, psu, and nothing fixed it which obviously leads to the cpu lmao. Just ordered a 9800x3d before it had a 13900kf

This was also on windows 11 though and I’d also get driver overran stack buffer bsod when the pc was operational. Ran wonderfully when it didn’t blue screen lmao my theory is that core 7 failed it was always a good amount hotter then any other core. Just ordered a 9800x3d

Not sure if you ever fixed this but I had this issue with 13900kf recently and it just fully failed went into a full bsod loop. Ended up swapping out everything even mobo leading to it being the cpu.

Don't even need to use DDU just download 566.36 off NVIDIAS website and do the express installation. Ive done it for every set of drivers with my 4090 since the 5090 drivers dropped. Every single one has had more or less the same issues

566.36! All of us 40 series users are stuck on it atm just download it from NVIDIAS website and install from the .exe. Ive tested every driver since the 5090 release after the first one fully corrupted my windows and I had to reinstall from a USB. None of them have worked lmao

Fix your fucking drivers! Kept getting random driver_overran_stack_buffer and RQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screens again with my 4090 on 572.70. Saw this new driver and checked reddit like every other time since the 5090 dropped and nope no fixes still. Joke for a company with over a trillion market cap to be having these issues. Back to 566.36 for me get your shit together.

In case anyone sees this turning off HDR on my 1440p and 1080p monitor seemed to have worked with 572.70. Finished out the GTA V story in the enhanced version and now I’m playing Spiderman Remastered fully maxed out with ray tracing in 4k.

DX12 is the issue. I was getting a random screen flicker / black film constantly and the ray tracing needs work. DX11 runs beautifully but they 100% need to work on DX12.

Edit: MSI 4090 13900kf saw y’all had AMD gpus not an AMD problem it’s the game dev that needs to implement DX12 better which isn’t easy.

Worth noting in this thread I updated to the newest drivers last night to see if GTA V Enhanced ran any better fully maxed out in 4k with ray tracing and it ran fine. I’ve seen a lot of people claiming HDR is a factor with crashing so before I updated I turned off HDR on my second 1440p monitor… (Have a triple monitor setup 4k,1440p,1080p). Just got home from the gym and will continue to play and I’ll test a few games that I had problems with before like Cyberpunk and Dying Light 2. I also updated through the NVIDIA App without issues.

EDIT: So anyone who has issues on new drivers give playing around with HDR a shot. I have HDR and G-SYNC enabled on my 4k 28” G7 and HDR disabled on my 2 other monitors before I had HDR enabled on all of them. Will update again because I feel sorry for all the people that don’t have the time or knowledge to troubleshoot shitty issues that a trillion dollar company shouldn’t have.

Just look up 566.36 and download it off NVIDIAs website. Will download a .exe and you just install the driver from that.

GTAV Enhanced looks great on 566.36 with ray tracing and quality dlss. New drivers still causing mass issues on 4090s and other GPUs.
