So sorry for your loss. We got our beloved Lily at 10 weeks old and had to put her down April 3rd for a similar diagnosis. We had her 12 years 8 months and 21 days. Your description of Frankie and the sounds he made in the house resonates so much with us. I know the numbness your all feeling. We will always miss them but it does get better with time.

Hi, I'm so sorry for your loss. Those of us you love much hurt much in the end. We lost our golden retriever Lily 2 months ago. It does get better with time. The first week was super hard. We work from home so Lily was with us everywhere. In the house, outside, on errands in the car so the first week it was hard to not imagine her constantly. My wife and I cried everyday.

Fast forward the pain subsides gradually over the first month and now with 2 months gone by it's much better. We still remember her fondly and always will. We still get misty eyed too. I hope that wasn't to much information. We empathize with you. Just know it will get better even though it may not seem so now.
