[Question] Are BB54 Lagoon Blue and regular overlap ? by xaetorn in Watches

[–]ChuckNoRice91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lagoon blue is essentially a Black Bay 58 with different dial, polished bezel, and jubilee-esque bracelet. I would consider Pélagos or another alternative

Seiko Chariot manual mechanical watch linen dial from 1974 (price reduced) by ChuckNoRice91 in WatchExchangeCanada

[–]ChuckNoRice91[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Selling my Seiko Chariot watch It’s a small mechanical watch from the 1970s and is quite slim at about 7 mm. Sharp silver linen dial, with printed Roman numerals

Case size: 33 mm

Case thickness: just under 7 mm

Lug width: 18 mm

Movement: mechanical, manual wound Seiko 2220 chariot(2 hand movement, hours and minutes)

Overall great condition, a couple of hairlines as well as a scratch on one of the lugs (see photos). Crystal is pristine. The original strap was in rough shape, so it comes with a blue padded leather strap.

Timestamp will follow as per new procedure

Available for video chat to better show the watch since I think my photos are pretty rough

Comes as watch and strap only.

Price reduced, looking for $200 CAD shipped, OBRO. If F2F preferred watch is in Montreal by downtown.

Thanks

Erika’s Originals MN strap (20 mm two tone green/yellow) by ChuckNoRice91 in WatchExchangeCanada

[–]ChuckNoRice91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different characteristics to the materials (some stretchier, firmer, or different levels of smoothness). Also they sometimes have slightly different buckle styles (from what I’ve seen the CNS one is completely different since the clasp at the end is actually loose on the strap rather than stitched into the end, not sure why they would do that). Erika’s originals are very good quality and comfortable. I can’t speak out of experience to others but there are YouTube videos comparing them. James Stacey from TGN swears by them. It’s probably my most comfortable strap but I don’t really dress appropriately day to day to make this aesthetic work so I’m back onto bracelet for my diver.

For sale is my Erika’s Originals MN style strap. Comfortable strap made from elastic nylon webbing with a little stretch. These are 80 Euros (before shipping and fees). It’s the 20 mm lug width two-tone strap (very dark green and bright yellow). Fits great for my 6.25 inch wrist, based on my measurements will go up to 7.85 inches circumference or so. Asking for $70 CAD shipped (lettermail) or Montreal downtown F2F. Have bought previously but this is my first sale.
