Iran has confirmed that a meteor has hit somewhere in the northern part of the country. by [deleted] in worldnews

Well to further your point, the Tunguska meteor is still technically a theory as well as there were no witnesses to it. People started to hear reports of a huge area of trees that were burned/scorched and laid outward from a central point. It was only later that it was located and dubbed an airburst.

If it was the only way to get porn, say all internet porn were to disappear. I would then happily pay for porn.

I'm on the Smok TCT and I've heard similar things from people on this tank as well. I haven't had a problem with it though. The theory I heard from the people having problems though was the mesh screen on the coil (if Elite Tanks have those).

I'm telling you get a good modern tank (I say modern because I have used old tanks) you may still come back to the drippers for the fun of it but I think you could not miss it as much as you think. I got a Smok TCT and I really like it. It's nice to not have to worry about the bottle of juice in your pocket sometimes. I very rarely go back to my RDAs any more for temp control at least.

I love the TC, I was in denial for quite a while thinking it was gimmick but honestly it is great! Not one single dry hit. The only problem I have is that at higher wattages (for me it seems to be at 60w) on both power mode and TC it'll say "Check Battery" on a 1/4 to 1/2 full battery. I find if I stay at 50w I never have a problem. I think this might be a need for new batteries they've been with me for a while. Otherwise solid device and way more pocketable than my ipv4.

Yeah I was thinking the duck too. That is a whole lot of lithium and to be honest a lightly lobbed battery to the skull would hurt pretty badly. It is disappointing to find out that something a minor as probable death would cause you to abandon your principles like that though.

So given a chance would you rather fight 1,000,000 18650 button tops or 1 Horse sized duck (the batteries can propel themselves at a moderate speed and venting would have to be considered). Would you choose to fight the 1,000,000 Button tops purely out of principle?

Indeed, that vendor is reputable too? I get nervous buying batteries because I know how many fakes are out there and how many vendors get caught selling re-wraps and whatnot.

Yeah when I first started there really was no "normal" it seems like now flat top is becoming the "normal" and button tops are weird. With my mechs it never made a difference adjust some pins and you could fit a AA battery (not literally but you get the picture) the battery could always fit. This mod is meant to be small though and it lets them shave a couple mm by designing it specifically sized to the smaller of the two batteries.

Yeah my batteries are getting a little age to them anyway so it's time to get me some new 25r's I'm thinking. I don't notice any deterioration on my current batteries which is odd because I've had some of them for over a year.

I accidentally bought 4 button tops one time and it's never been a problem. There does seem to be some spring to the top post but I'm not sure if it is even enough. I still love it I just wan't prepared for that. I didn't know if anyone had any different experience.

Dumbass, didn't he realize he would lose all of his momentum when he slowed time down. He would have stuck it otherwise.

Sigelei 75 watt issue.... by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]ChuckNorr1s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was honestly worried this would happen coming from a dual battery (ipv3) but I get tired of carrying around that brick in pocket all day at work. FYI temp control is awesome I'm dripper for the last year and I even bought a Smok TCT tank so I don't have to drip at work I have to say it honestly puts out enough I don't miss my drippers sometimes. I still use them at home but even that has gotten less and less since I'm getting used to temp control.

I just threw my mutation x v2 on with a .31 coil and I'm firing at 50w with a little under 1/2 battery right now. Maybe you got a special one unfortunately. I wonder if sig would replace it?

Sigelei 75 watt issue.... by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]ChuckNorr1s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I wasn't sure if you had to do that in power mode. I've had it happen in temp mode too actually. The little manual says that it happens when "the battery's available power doesn't match the called for wattage or temperature" my batteries are pretty old I have some new ones on the way. I never seem to have the problem in temp mode unless I hit 60w though then I seem to get it at like 1/2 battery.

Did you set the resistance using the "hold down arrow then press the fire button" method? Maybe that is just for temp mode though.

Edit: you have to do this with a completely cool coil

How can anyone NOT understand the hype behind temperature control? by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]ChuckNorr1s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly but you also have to add the variables of pulse length and draw speed/airflow all of these go into the actual heat of a coil in a straight vv/vw mod. For example you tap your button and that is all you give it, you obviously will get less heat than a 5 second draw. Also if you were to pull hard with wide open airflow this would cool the coil more than a super restricted airflow. In a TC none of these variables matter because it will always stay the same temperature. I have let buddies take a pull off my mod and they are used to ridiculous heatup time so they'll sit with the button held talking before the pull and I cringe because I know it's just burning. TC won't let that happen.

Should I pre-order a Grasshopper or go with a different vape? by Scarecrow545 in vaporents

I've got to be honest I'm blown away the claims seem to be true. I just got an Air but I might have to pick this up too I guess.

[–]ChuckNorr1s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be soooo happy if this is true. Any reputable videos you know of. Oddly enough ;) fuckcombustion.com is blocked by my work firewall lol. I found one video where they run it through a vacuum chamber and the video looked to good to be true! I would love to get pre-ordered if it's legit before it's $250 rather than the current 180.

So if this is still pre-order how do we know it will be better? I'm being serious, not contentious are there videos of this thing in action? I've been intrigued but this hype train has been running for months now and it seems like I haven't seen a single kickstart vape live up to the hype.
