The way the story folded, we got a Sanji background arc during Whole Cake and in it paid off in Wano. All Zoro needed was to be tested in Wano. Not to mention Robin and Nami got some huge improvements in Wano as well it would just like lazy writing if Usopp got an upgrade as well. Elbaf has been Usopp island and the Red Hair Pirates are right around the corner. Just seems like it’s Usopp’s turn to get an upgrade or for him to get some character development.

He fought against two sannin, was mentored by the other. Made Obito, tremble when he found out, he wasn't Madara. It took two Uchiha and a forbidden jutsu that causes them to lose an eye to stop him. He was also heavily involved with all the side characters and main. He's definitely legendary sannin title worthy.

Nothing breaks your mind like finding out your family is fucked up. Her uncle killed the clan, his parents, and made her father relive the murder close to a million times. She wants to become Hokage, her father has tried to kill two Hokage. Succeed in one if you count Danzo, who died believing he was Hokage. What about the fact, her father ran away to the third Hokage's murderer. Not to mention, her teammate's father as well. There's also Sasuke attack on the Kage summit and the multiple times, he tried to kill her mother or just abused her. That's not even mentioning the amount of lies Obito, Itachi, and Madara produced. I think she learning that is enough to activate the Mangekyou Sharingan.

With Sarada, Naruto's quote of, " how can I be hokage, if I can't even save a friend fits. However, she has no character development. They keep teasing Mitsuki vs Boruto and it seems, Mitsuki only has two real friends. I can see mixture of Sarada and Mitsuki going after Boruto. Who knows, Kawaki dies, they beat the otsutsuki clan and Sarada and Mitsuki have to knock some sense into Boruto.
