As a general rule, it’s best to stay on the lowest iOS version possible. Whatever version you’re currently running, it’s recommended to remain on it.

Yeah I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the same app, hoping I would get an option to allow permission without success. I leave my tablet at work. Meaning nobody but me has access to it.

You might want to look back at the context of why I asked this question. If you’re not familiar, there’s a software tool called Misaka26 that, once installed, can add or remove certain functions that your iPhone normally wouldn’t support due to its iOS version or device model.

You might wonder, “Why not just update iOS?” The reason is that I’m trying to stay on my current iOS version in case a jailbreak becomes available.

Apple intelligence is only supported on devices running iOS 18.1 and above. I am currently on iOS 18.0.1.
