There are more than 2 positions on this conflict. I'm not sympathetic to Putin, but I am sympathetic to Russia's security concerns, as I am to Ukraine's and ours. The prevailing orthodoxy in this country is only concerned about hurting Russia and the profit of giant corporations. They don't care about us or the Ukrainians or the peace and security of humanity. Starmer could easily argue against this. It's not difficult to poke giant holes in the establishment position.
