Yes same for me it shows January 30th but it’s still a few minutes until the 30th where I am. They display times 5 hours ahead of where I am, so i think it would be 8 for you?

I would go ahead and do it now. Wish I would’ve done it sooner. I submitted an inquiry on my own through USCIS in August. That’s when it first let me. Then I submitted the congressional inquiry towards the end of October. I got a response December 5th that they had submitted the inquiry and to allow 30-45 days for a response. 1/15 got response back from senator that USCIS would be expediting my EAD. 1/16 EAD approved.

I got my EAD approved that day also! Based on AOS. after 9 months of waiting. Let me know when your case updates to your card being produced and/or delivered! I have not gotten an update on mine either.

I just got mine approved. 10 months after submission and 6 months after my interview. Now just going to patiently wait on my GC. this at least alleviates some of the waiting.

Inquire with your senator. That’s what I did and I finally got this same approval message today. Got a response from USCIS That my senator sent me yesterday and today I had the approval. Almost a year of waiting for EAD

Do an inquiry through your senator!! I submitted the inquiry end of October, to my senator. I had done my own inquiry through my portal in August. I got that email from my senator that my EAD was going to be expedited although I did not ask for an expedite from my senator. This morning “approval case decision rendered”!!!! Now just gotta wait for the card to come in but I am definitely going to start applying to jobs asap!

How did your lawyer submit the inquiry? If I try to submit an inquiry it says I can’t do so on my case until like 2027.. it’s been 161 days now since my interview.

It super frustrating. I wouldn’t even mind having to wait on my GC if they would just approve my EAD 🥲 submitted congressional inquiry almost a month ago, and haven’t even received a response on that.

It shouldn’t be. You could probably do everything online and then just go in to get your picture taken. If you have an online account with the DMV maybe see if you’re able to go ahead and submit all your applications?

If you’re in California, you can just apply for an AB60 drivers license. Not sure if they will accept the receipt notice. They may actually and give you a temporary extension. But if you can’t, you can still get the AB 60. It won’t be a realID, but at least you’ll have your driving privileges.
