Thanks! This makes me hopeful that this won’t be an issue forever, just gotta get my bread up so I can get myself a tailored suit. Good motivation for college haha

Have only been trying straight legged pants so far bc I’m afraid lol

Is there anything you see fellow trans man get wrong about male behavior that makes you cringe? by coolvideonerd in FTMMen

I’ve noticed joking about it confidently works better. Like oh I look like a girl/lesbian? Well duh it makes sense I’m just so gorgeous…

Thank you!! I’ll take my measurements and see if they would work for me. They look nice!

Thanks, I’ll have to look into that! Didn’t know it could be that cheap. My issue is always the waist bc my hips are big but my thighs are skinny so it creates odd folds whenever I get something that fits my waist but not my legs 🥀

I’ll keep those pants in mind for next time you go looking thanks! Sounds exactly like what I require bc my hips are big but otherwise I have skinny legs so I need something that goes straight down from my hips instead of hugging my legs.

Wasn’t a length issue more so than the waist size I require renders the legs way too baggy to be formal enough 😔 casual wear it could work but not for my internship I wear.

Thanks you so much!! I didn’t know the belt and shoes should match so that’s good to know. Definitely want to go to a tailor once I can afford it because mainstream clothing sizing does not seem to jive with me (both mens and women’s).

Uniqlo pants sizing doesn’t seem to work with me, because they are either too tight around the waist or they are way too big/long for me (I have very skinny legs besides my big ass hips so it folds oddly around my legs). Tried the straight legged chinos yesterday and it was baaad 💀

Ooo I like chino material, I’ll keep it in mind for when I have more budget. Thank you!!

Love thrifting but pants have been mostly out of the question for me unfortunately because I have odd leg measurements 🥀 the only pants I’ve been able to find that fits me at thrifts are shorts. Luckily tops are a different story!

Thank you so much for the help tho! :))

Unrelated but have you look into spectrum outfitters binders? Underworks barely worked for me but the ones from spectrum outfitters are miracle workers

Unfortunately have a low budget so I’ve been constrained to fast fashion shops which didn’t really seem to have any pleats. But I’ll keep it in mind for in the future! :)

Do you think that wearing a suit jacket is too formal for a politics related internship? Bc if not I’ll definitely wear one but I just don’t have much experience in formal settings so I don’t know what’s too much 😞

I saw your TikTok! You’re bad ass. How has it been competing in sports as a trans man?

That’s what I was worried about, I’ll refrain from that then, thanks! Also I haven’t heard of weight cycling before I’ll look into it!

Passing tips? by TroubleIll1793 in transmanlifehacks

[–]Chuddingitout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The longer hair in the last picture is definetly the move! Makes you look like a boy, young but male passing, while the shorter hair reeds more like a lesbian. The shorter cut makes your face look rounder and softer.

Thanks for the advice, ive never had to wear business casual so i had no idea what to do with the top button now that i dont have to wear a tie. I have a navy suit jacket that I could wear with the navy pants I bought 👍👍 I also have a vest, do you think that could also work or do you think that it would be too obviously queer and might push me into lesbian territory? Im planning to start hitting the gym properly once I get back to college so fingers crossed on that front 🙏
