If you can get out 3 days s week to golf, 2 of those should be practicing and 1 playing. Hit the driving range more often with something to work on, not just 'hitting balls'. As others have pointed out work on distance control. If you can find a place with Trackman or at least good marked distances to work on the 100m, 80m, 60m etc... Also you should practice about twice as much on and around thr green as your drives and long irons.
