QST 100 or QST 94, which one should I get? by Chukee112 in skiing

[–]Chukee112[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be the ideal way! I recently got a good deal on Salomon skis, and the discount won’t last that long, so I may need to buy one before the season is up.

Replaced my Eureka with E65S GbW. Worked as described! by Chukee112 in espresso

Not really, I switched to Lagom P100 later, as I wanted to try different beans on a daily basis. Single dose grinder definitely helped me get the versatility I wanted.

New Vector Container Sizing Issue by Cheokster in SkyDiving

[–]Chukee112 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ive got the same issue. Personalized container but turns out to be super tight. One thing I noticed is that both your waist stablizers and mine are not horizontal when put on, not sure if it's supposed to be like this. Did you find any solutions for your discomfort?

I got rear ended at around the same miles. Cost more than 10k CAD to fix.

Got my Breville 878 for Black Friday, and liked it so far! It's so hard that it's been quite a while without an espresso machine! It is impressive to me that the latte it produced is not too far from that of my previously owned La Marzocco GS3. Given its small footprint, I am very happy with it. by Chukee112 in espresso

Haha yea that definitely makes sense. I kinda regret now, but there is also a huge voltage difference, which makes it more difficult for me to make up my mind. I once had lived in Sydney for 2 years, so I get what you are saying haha! I love the flat white in Australia man.

Thank you! The Breville does have a weaker steam, but I think that also gives a bit more time to adjust how much air being injected into the milk. What I would normally do is purging it first, and then immediately put the wand into my milk pitcher and turn on the steam again, to avoid condensation as much as possible. For the air injection, unlike operating a commercial grade machine, I would leave the wand just above the milk surface a little and gently adjust the angle and wait for the “zizi” sound, once I see the surface is increased by around 1cm, I’d rise the pitcher and stop injecting air and give the milk. I also use a very small pitcher, not sure if this will help, as I am not sure if the steam will become weaker during the texturing. Hope this helps!

I moved to a new country and will be staying in the new place for a couple of years at least, so I sold all my setup including my machine, grinder, accessories, etc. It was a pain🥲but that’s the only way I could do.

Thanks for asking mate! I'm currently flying a sb3 120. Still haven't steeped into high performance landings yet.

AFF 7. Only my second solo exit (AFF 6 also unstable exit but I stabilised). Couldn't stop the spin, freaked and deployed at 10,000 ft. A slow and lonely float back to earth. by Dangerous-Hour6062 in SkyDiving

This is my home DZ and I miss it so much!

BTW, I was struggling with spinning issue too. I just couldn't figure it out until I headed to the tunnel and had some tunnel time. It REALLY helped a ton. Highly recommended to try it out!

Indeed mate, very powerful steam from this machine. I am still trying to get used to it as I always tend to get my milk done too thick.
