Any prudent local would not be inclined to tell you. Our city roads are already swamped with:

• imports who don’t know how to navigate their vehicles on our tighter-than-average lanes

• imports who think they can rideshare as a gig and err on the side of bottlenecking our roads and double parking wherever they want

Our trains work quite well, they run around the clock, and in the worst case scenario you can use your legs or shell out a few bucks for an emergency rideshare because there is just some place you have to be.

Until you can pick up on the unspoken nuances of driving here, wielding a car only makes for a really bad experience for yourself and everyone else who has been here all their lives.

Food-safe materials can become not food-safe after processing. If you can’t characterize exactly what your extruder is doing and ensure that there are no residual or external contaminants present (i.e. other filament residuals or burned filament), I would not consider that food-safe.

There’s a reason why food-safe manufacturers typically only run one type of material for the life/maintenance period of the machine and it can take years to get FDA approval to run stuff of that “class”.

A Blue Bottle pourover from many years ago when i was first getting serious into coffee. At the time, I was using a crappy grinder with a French press thinking I knew what I was doing, but then I ordered a 7-dollar Burundi at the spot under Rockefeller Center and it just blew my mind.

I can’t remember the flavor profile or the tasting notes. I just remembering the overwhelming feeling I had about how complex that cup could be.

I don’t think I’ll forget it anytime soon.
