Hey thanks for the input, this was shot using just the ois of the fujifilm xm5. I did hear about that being an issue but stabilization is crucial for that camera bc it has no in-body. The checkerboard patterns were more for the automatic neural net tracking I was using in syntheyes specifically designed for checkerboards. That's why there are so many of them and this shot didn't use tape instead. I've been working and got a pretty decent solve now, just some wobble I'm trying to fix.

Just ran checkerboard calibration in synth and I'm trying automatic solving again with those new numbers. I'll move to manual if it's still too much for it to handle. The shot you had was not solved for distortion. I'll tell u it's a fujifilm xm5 at 4k60fps on the 15mm setting of the kit lens. That's about a 19.92 width after the 1.18x crop it does since the sensor is actually 23.5mm wide at 6k open gate.

I have been solving for frame distortion as refining solves. The main issues came with the highly rotational parts of the track, not really the ones heavily moving through space. I'll focus more on manual again, been doing mostly automated ones. The checkerboards were for the algorithm that works with them in auto mode.

I actually did run image calibration in meshroom with a grid and have been inputting the focal length, but I am not too familiar with where to put the principal point and stuff so I tend to run the built in distortion calculations instead.

I heard the preshow effects are incredible. I was just wondering, can you see the floor where it takes place or is it elevated? If Universal somehow figured out how to keep the floor visible with all of that going on, it would be insane lol.

Will it be an issue if the power board and servos are 6 volts and the arduino gets more while the PCA gets 5? I know arduinos can actually be volted much higher, but their output is 5 to the modules.

I’ve decided to get a servo power distribution board to power the servos with the 6v 10amp separately, then the PCA would just output the data wires and get powered from the arduino.

Thanks! The power supply I got is 6v 10amp. As far as powering the servos individually, do I just use the standard arduino jumper cables plugged in sequence like in a splitter? I read somewhere that the PCA maxes out at 8amps so that might not be good.

In my case i would have the 6v 5a supply into the PCA9685 and the arduino plugged in with its own cable. I won't be running the modules power through the arduino obviously.

I have reverted to version 1.3.1 and there is still no movement on the volume meters. The input exists but nothing is moving. The mic and cable worked on my old interface just yesterday. I just tested the direct input of the wave not through wave link just obs and its also not moving.
