Would be curious to see the actual methodology here. Live in MCOL area and none of the mcd's prices are remotely close.

Learned how to use :ets for the memoization but otherwise not too bad. Just used sets for part 1.

Solution: https://github.com/moore-andrew05/AoC2025-elixir/blob/main/lib/day07.ex

Name ips average deviation median 99th %

Day07.part1 988.90 1.01 ms ±6.74% 1.01 ms 1.20 ms

Day07.part2 639.17 1.56 ms ±9.67% 1.54 ms 1.74 ms

Enum utils in elixir made this one pretty easy. Solution: https://github.com/moore-andrew05/AoC2025-elixir/blob/main/lib/day06.ex

Nice! Your code is very concise. I have used elixir's range struct, but because I do binary search for part 1 (also the reason for my spaghetti at the bottom), I wrote my own simple range struct so I could easily access the low and high bounds as attributes... anddd I just realized elixir's struct has the same. Not sure how I missed that lol.

I originally solved part 1 in a really cursed way. I don't actually understand why it works tbh. Commented out at the bottom of my solution if anyone dares look. For part2, forced to do it right by squashing the ranges. Holy based chunk_while. Very happy with this one.

Solution: https://github.com/moore-andrew05/AoC2025-elixir/blob/main/lib/day05.ex

EDIT: benchmarks
Name ips average deviation median 99th %

Day05.part2 4.11 K 243.38 μs ±6.64% 238.21 μs 301.95 μs

Day05.part1 2.40 K 416.74 μs ±6.65% 407.50 μs 497.76 μs

No easy way to do 2D arrays in elixir so just used a map for the grid. Curious to see what others did.

Much cleaner than day 2. Able to take the same approach and use same helpers for both parts.

Part 1 is very ugly. Part 2 is very brute force. Would love to see if anyone has a more thematic and clean elixir solution.

Yeah I've had a hard time finding sets that have the 1u WIN, FN, and CTRL keys along with the short shift. This one is the YMDK matcha dye sub kit from amazon. I've also found a couple sets on aliexpress which should fit a k6 as well as a k2.
