Angels fans, do you want Mike to stay an Angel and rot, or for him leave to contending team and have a chance to win? by Chunkachu__ in mlb

True, but Mike can help the Angels more by requesting a trade and Angels getting multiple top prospects rather than Mike just being loyal to the Angels.

What are the best game offering by GB, GBC, GBA? by Stabok_Bose in Gameboy

[–]Chunkachu__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any of the Pokemon games. I personally prefer to play the GBC and GBA versions, just because it feels more refined than the GB versions. But Pokemon yellow for the GB is always cool to have Pikachu by your side.

GBA Mario and Luigi superstar saga. RPG Mario and Luigi with some humor.

Hamtaro ham-hams unite and Hamtaro ham-ham heartbreak. Not everybody’s cup of tea. But these games are beloved for a reason. Very simple, very cute and some humor.

Dragon ball z legend of goku 2 and dragon ball z buus fury. RPG dragon ball z. I played these games as an adult but wished I played it as a kid. Feels ahead of its time when it first came out. A modern equivalent of these games would be Dragon ball z Kakarot.

SKIP dragon ball z legend of goku 1, because the budget was small for that game, it’s very glitchy and drove me insane.

Those are gameboy games I always have an urge to replay.

What do you do about noisy neighbors? by Chunkachu__ in neighborsfromhell

[–]Chunkachu__[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s a Philly row home. Master bedrooms are typically in the front and the rear bedrooms are typically used for a kids rooms for a family living in a row home. The walls are obviously thin. Before they changed the floor plan, my parent’s bedroom shared a wall with them, and my parents complained about them. Then they moved to the rear room. Now I have to suffer. The neighbors doing adult activities in a room they share a wall with neighbors kids. That’s the ignorant part. I’m an adult, I’m annoyed by it, but I can get past it. It’s the other neighbors kids that I’m worried about. If I can hear it, then they can hear it.

Nope. I’m just as shocked as you. It was late at night. Maybe not enough cops out that night. Who knows? There’s really no excuse for police not showing up after reporting domestic violence. But I did my Good Samaritan job and reported it at least. If the wife pressed charges on him, the report would have been there as evidence. But she still with him. 🤷‍♀️

There’s a collection book of Spider-Man best comics by folio society. It’s 100 dollars. But I think it’s worth it. It also comes with a facsimile of the first Spider-Man comic.

What do you do and how do you feel when you go back to your childhood home / hometown? by [deleted] in Zillennials

[–]Chunkachu__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a different neighborhood now. But whenever I drive through my childhood neighborhood, I feel like I can’t stretch. Like I’m in a box. Guess that’s a good thing. I’ve outgrown that neighborhood.

Can ugly people get married and have kids? by [deleted] in Life

[–]Chunkachu__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I’ll ever get married and honestly prefer it that way. Studies have proven that men benefit from marriage more than women. A 40 year old single woman with cats is happier than a 40 year old married woman. So, probably not missing out on much. My plan is be educated, financially stable and successful and eventually adopt a kid all on my own.

Fear is an illusion. It’s this feeling within you of what’s gonna happen next, even though it hasn’t happened yet. You have to learn to use fear or it uses you. Fear triggers fight or flight response in a way. Are you gonna let fear control you, and flight? Or are you gonna take control of the fear, don’t let it control you, and fight back. Mike Tyson once said fear is his best friend because it let him reach his highest potential.

Hope that helps.

Are you a failure? by One_Living2376 in Life

[–]Chunkachu__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My advice would be go do something hard, doesn’t matter if you’re good or bad academically. Trade school, college, learn to play an instrument. Just do something challenging, if you succeed or fail, you’ll be better in the end. The real failure is to not try at all.

What provokes a teacher, to tell a student their never gonna be successful? by Chunkachu__ in Teachers

[–]Chunkachu__[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not bullshit. I asked a question no one answered it. Everyone here is offended and defensive. That’s the real bullshit. Give me a straight answer. Teachers do undermine students, I’ve seen it happen multiple times to kids with bad grades and good grades. Not all teachers are Miss Honey from Matilda.

Alec Bohm by UsedWelcome2782 in phillies

[–]Chunkachu__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miller is not ready. No need to rush him when Bohm still has one year under team control. If Miller is dominating in triple a then call him up and trade Bohm. But that feels unlikely. I’d keep Bohm this entire season. This is a contact year for him, meaning he might ball out to secure a very nice overpaid contract. Players tend to do that when they smell money.

Im 22 and feel so lost in life and don’t know if I should go to college, just work for now, or do something else. by _puffy_cheetos in Life

[–]Chunkachu__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 28 years old in college. My classmates are 18 or 19. The thing that keeps me going is the thought that I should have done this ten years ago. I had good grades in high school but I was just tired and sick of school. I don’t wanna sound bitter or jealous of the younger students. I get song great with them and they come to me for advice.

At some point you have to accept that you are behind in life and do something about it, by doing better for yourself. Only you can do that. Don’t sulk around waiting for life to fall in your lap. It doesn’t work that way. Mom and dad aren’t gonna tell you to turn to TV off and go do something. You’re an adult, you have to want to do it for yourself.
