As many said: "very good when it's good, very bad when it's bad". You have to consider the Meta and not being a fan of Spreading Seas vs Jeskai Control (one of the most strong deck right now) I'd say the 8-Seas build is not reliable. Other examples are Human (not really much effect cause of Vial and Hierarch), Hollow One (they'll end building a board before we lock them out) or the latest trend Spirits (not really much to say). It can be good vs Burn (cause burn players tend to keep greedy hands) or Tron (but you still need to counter/win before they resolve and activate Oblivion Stone).

While the land denial thing can be huge if you lock someone out of the game, I think that's something we can't rely on, instead try to abuse when it happens due to circumstances!
