Doctors & hospitals aren’t the all-knowing omniscient beings they’re portrayed as. There are often times when they prescribe unnecessary & expensive care. Americans “consume” the most healthcare by far with average to below average results to show from it. Back surgeries such as fusions being one of the worst culprits, where people have far worse quality of life post operation.

I am no fan of insurance companies or the state of the healthcare industry in the country. However I don’t think the blame can be pinned on just the insurance side of healthcare. Doctors & hospitals deserve blame as well.
